Server list: custom display name

Add an option to label a game service.

 

In TCAdmin1, we use custom display name to make game servers recognizable for our community admins so they don't accidentally reset the wrong server, and display it on our frontpage (http://www.convictgaming.com).

 

Right now we are using the tcadmin2 notes field as a work around for our published server list, but that doesn't show up in the tcadmin2 list.

We already have a name field in the database. We just need to have a way to change it and enable it as a selectable column in the list.

Where would you like to be able to enter the descriptive name?

How many characters long do you think you need? (keeping in mind the space constraints on certain pages).

For our own personal goals 32 characters would suffice to uniquely describe a server.

- use the name from the query results (updates automatically)

- use a custom name
