franky500
Hi. When i start my sof server on its own without TCAdmin there is full gore (blood settings) on the server no problem.. However when using TCAdmin there is no gore what so ever. IT just seems to lock it out. Any ideas?
GameConnectors
Could it be a command line setting? Thats most likely the only difference between tcadmin starting it, and you starting it manually, as the config files will be the same.
ECF
Agreed. Our software simply starts the exe file with the commands that you specify, nothing more. I would check the commandline that you have entered into TCAdmin. You can do this by clicking on that game server in the list, then click "Service Settings". On the right hand side of the page click the "preview" button. This will display the whole path to exe and commandline for that game. Verify it is the same vs. the one you are using manually. franky500
Nope. i should have mentioned that.... The command lines are exactly the same.
ECF
And you are starting both from the same set of game files?
franky500
yes. both exactly the same: both running from: C:\Program Files\Raven\SOF PLATINUM\SoF.exe +set dedicated 1 It makes no sense... I have tried both with and withut the game server compatibility set to SOF
ECF
It doesn't make any sense. Something has to be different between the 2 commandlines. I am not 100 sure about the mod, but don't most Q2 or Q3 based games require you to call the mod from the commandline with +set fs_game command? franky500
Not that i know of for SOF. Just trying to think what else it could possibly be
ECF
There has to be a difference in the commandline or the config files somewhere. If you do the preview I mentioned above to see the command line that TCAdmin is using and then copy and run that commandline on the server desktop it might help you track down what it is.
