TCAdmin V2 + Cod4

Well i just bought the game online and it was download able game files,

 

I have just installed the files,

 

I have put in the dll that is needed,

 

Also updates directx

 

What else is there for me to do ? so i can get a server online

I have just downloaded the latest PB, just wondering where i put it now?

When you create a game server click on the update pb icon and it will download the latest files.

hey LFA iam trying to run the server without tcadmin right now and iam getting this error

 

DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error Check readme for possible solutions

 

Do you have any ideas ?

 

I have just decided to try and run it thru tcadmin and the server is up and running but i cant run it without tcadmin hmmmmmm

 

 

what files am i allowed to delete ? i have the whole game installed on my server

You can delete the movie files as they are not needed. The rest of the files are required.

you purchased the game online? you need to install it on your pc or on server and copy the fiels from that. Steam version should not work.

it was not thru steam is was from http://www.gametap.com/

 

Paid 20$ was alot easier buying it online and dling the game that way then shipping the game to he data center

On call of duty 4 on linux on V2 with punkbuster i have my settings to

 

.callofduty4/pb/

 

just put that in the location and it will work fine.

I'm receiving the same directx error as you.

 

"Directx encountered an unrecoverable error".

 

I have CoD4 servers running fine in another data center in v1 of TCAdmin.

 

I stopped the process copied and compressed the files, then transferred them to our new machine then added the service via TCA v2.

 

When trying to start the server after addition, we receive this error same error as stated above. Any help on this would be appreciated.

 

Troubleshooting help required! Please any feedback on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
