Remote GameServer Files

Can the game server files be stored on a http server located elsewhere, or do you have to have it on the master server, or on a server with TCAdmin installed

 

 

 

i have a few webservers, and to incresase server perfromance, might be better to have the files being pulled from http server as apposed to one of the game servers ( if its set up that way )

I will answer the first question by saying you cannot put from an external webserver.

 

 

 

After that you have 3 choices.

 

 

 

1. Keep the files on the Master Server

 

2. Keep files local on each remote server

 

3. Tag a remote server as a Master FTP server in which case the files get pulled from their.

so is there no way to set up a remote http server to be tagged as the FTP server ? provided its given full FTP acccess?
