adamnp
I read somewhere that the CC industry is coming up with a new method of authorization that utilizes finger prints to complete the transactions of their 'safe' cards. Not sure what's taking so long, simple solution to the issue. You can get the little thumb scanners @ walmart for 40 bucks. Some of these cards have yearly fee's much higher than 40, so include the scanners with the cards for @home use as well as commercial.
ECF
That is great in theory, but they will have to store the fingerprints somewhere as well. I am sure they will get stolen at some point too... Sad part is everything falls on the merchant's side. Basically we get shafted for everything because the CC companies and card holders can't safe guard their shit... adamnp
True! But two different servers in two different locations behind two different nat's will relate to needing a much more sophisticated intrusion than simply getting into 1. Well of course, that is assuming they build it out in such a fashion -- as you are implying, they are ruhtards and most likely won't haha! Multiple layers are better all the way around! ECF
I would love to think they would build it that way Adam. But we are talking about credit card companies...
