set ftp port for a specific server.

I believe i read a while ago that i could set an ftp port for a specific install (ie right now the ftp port is 2121 for the box but i have 1 user that needs it on a port not blocked on his end 8080 is what i was planning on.) Is this possible or is my memory failing me heh.

Yup. Goto System settings>Servers. Click on the server in question and change the FTP port number towards the bottom of the page. Save it, and then give that remote monitor a restart.

right that does the entire box. I know about that option. I thought i read in a former update one of the changes was to allow individual changed to server ip ports on a user basis not the entire box although i could be wrong.

 

 

 

 

 

I dont need or want the entire box to change i just need this one servers (games servers install) to be accessable on a different port. I dont want to mess the other peoples servers ftp on the same box.

Nope. Never had that. It basically the whole box changes.

I think the feature you were thinking of was the external FTP users that we added a while back. However it still is 1 port setting as the built in ftp is.
