report is not working

everything else except report function in tcadmin panel works fine. when I click report button to generate charts and graphs, it just shows empty blank ones. now I have no idea what to do to fix this problem. does anyone have any clue?

 

 

 

I have been running servers for a while so it should generate graphs by now... could it be some kind of mysql problem?

Just a warning. Make sure you set your stats to autopurge in the TCAdmin settings. Otherwise your database will grow very large very quickly.

I was wondering what autopurge meant...

 

negative number is always not good so I was thinking about

 

changing it to 100 because that's what I used to get on

 

math tests back in high school

And set the scheduled task to run every 30 minutes.

wait so what does this scheduled task do? I read the instructions but I don't quite understand. Does it erase recorded data? but isn't that autopurge is for?

It is what puts the data into the database...

 

 

 

 

 

And just to give you an idea, 30 days puts about 15million records in your database with 6 or 7 machines.... about 1.2gigs of data (600megs of data, 600megs of indexes).

 

 

 

It isn't fun... Set it low like ECF says.
