McMyAdmin

A quick question I have got McMyAdmin running threw tcadmin some what... the only issue i am having is that when you try to start the mcmyadmin threw tcadmin I see that it tries to start the exe it shows it starting in the processes but it starts then shuts off , starts again shuts off about 5 times then finally times out. the only way currently its for me to manually start the mcmyadmin on my dedi box first then its runs fine has anyone figured out how to make this work with tcadmin correctly?

TCAdmin & MCMyAdmin are two different game control panels. You can not get McMyAdmin to work through TCAdmin. Your best shot is to use McMyAdmin for McServers. However TcAdmin as far as I know supports Minecraft servers. So there really is no need to run both.

Here you go MCMA Game Config its a bit hacky because yes it is another game panel but it does work and can be controlled by TCAdmin2.

I can approve that you can run TCAdmin with MCMyAdmin as I have done this before and I dont have the config but will work on finding where I put it.

What's the benefit of using MCMyAdmin with tcadmin?

I wager because; MCMyAdmin is entirely made just for Minecraft, whereas TCAdmin is made to service many different games.

Something tailored specifically for one game would be a bit smoother for client and maintenance.

My two cents:

 

McMyAdmin created and developed by CubeCoders is a great Minecraft CP management system, I personally would only use this if you know your clients are going to understand it as it is quite an advanced control panel with great features and UI.

 

TCADMIN is fantastic! especially with the ability to easily add and create your own Game templates / server configs, you can see all resources at all times, you can choose to allow clients to view or not to view this as well. I allow my clients to view all statistics as it is nice to be able to see how much bandwidth your using, CPU and memory.

 

You can use the good old shared or dedicated assignment with TCADMIN which is good for those who want that little bit extra flexibility.

 

I personally use the following Control panel setup.

 

CraftSRV: for Minecraft

TCADMIn: for all game servers as well as Minecraft

 

I like to give my clients flexibility and plenty of choices. We also provide McMyAdmin and Multicraft KVM's so I suppose that is a total of 4 different control panels that we provide for server management of Games and Minecraft.
