Minecraft 1.5.2

I'm trying to find other Minecraft's versions, such as 1.5.2, because the TCA default is 1.6.2 or something like that.

Use the same game config, a minecraft update is only deployed in a .jar

I'm not involve in Minecraft stuff or whatever, what should I do to install past versions?

Basically, the entire version of minecraft is in the minecraft.jar

So just find an older minecraft.jar that corresponds with the version that you want. Overwrite the existing one you have, boom done.

Just one last thing, how can I check what version is running the server without entering to it?

 

PS: Well it sounds easy, but I think it's not =P, the server doesn't respond after I rewrite the minecraft_server.jar, any ideas?

Use the updates feature in the games config to enable the user a choice between versions. If you're replacing the file manually and running user per service run the repair file permissions tool.

In updates feature there's only one option call "latest update". I replace the file manually and run the repair file permissions tool, but didn't work.

 

Also, I start the service manually from SSH (Linux) and I receive the following error:

According to Google, this is related to two things:

1. Pirate "minecraft_server.jar" file. Solution: initiate the game till the error disappear and the game will start fine.

2. Windows 7 problem. Nothing to do with it, because my server is in Linux.

 

Anyway this two alternatives are IN THE GAME, not in a server. I couldn't find any solution or problem in WoM servers related with my issue.
