Linux L4D game server files

Hello guys,

 

I'm trying to download L4D Linux game server files through HLDSUpdateTool, but since it's been shut off, I can't download anything.

 

I'm also trying to download with SteamCmd, but it has not been converted, and when I try appip 510 or 222840 I get some errors.

 

It seems that Valve has given away from L4D, and it's not possible to download gameserver files anymore...

 

Could anyone help me and upload them to me? I'm really needing this, and would be very thankful!

What commands do you use?

For SteamCmd:

 

app_update 222840

appt_update 510

 

Any of those commands give me error (no subscription or invalid platform)

 

And for HLDSUpdateTool:

 

./steam -command update -game left4dead -dir /home/zombie/serverpath

 

But since HLDSUpdateTool has been deactivated, it doesn't work.

appid 510 should be enough. Try signing into SteamCMD with an account, not anonymous. If that doesn't work, try an account that owns the game.

steamcmd for l4d2 doe not work now at all something to do with steam, i have just tested it with new file download.

 

Here is the full cmd files for l4d2, i downloaded years ago.

Actually, for L4D2 it works

 

The issue is with the first version of the game L4D1. I hope you just wrote an extra "2"

They have almost anything, give it a browse you will probably find what you need and then some. I have used the site for several server files and they work, I haven't used L4D linux, I use a windows version but I'm sure they will most likely have it.
