Bravo17
We are getting the following error in our log monitor file and TCA is not working correctly. 11/2/2014 1:12:30 PM : AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED. REASON: TOO MANY DAYS WITHOUT UPDATING LICENSE. CONTACT TCADMIN SUPPORT. LAST UPDATE: 10/23/2014 12:11:02 PM Is this really to do with the License ( which is arranged through our server provider ) or is there possibly another cause? Ten days doesn't seem very long for it to cause TCA to stop functioning correctly.
marcelokruk
It's like your provider did not pay the licences or your server cant't connect to the licence server of TCAdmin.
Bravo17
Thanks, I had put in a ticket with our provider so they can check that they have paid the fee, but I was wondering if anything else could cause that message to suddenly appear. Anyone know what the license server is so I can check that connection from or server?
marcelokruk
Here: https://master.tcadmin.com/
Bravo17
Thanks! Our server seems to have a 20 ping to there, so I guess it should be able to connect OK!
Bravo17
Interesting - my server box resolves master.tcadmin.com to 74.86.130.95, whilst my home machine resolves it to 74.86.130.94. Could that be the problem, or should both IPs work OK?
marcelokruk
Frome my home and all my servers in the datacenter it resolves to 74.86.130.95, in my opinion your problem is from an unpaid licence.
Bravo17
Thanks, at least I know that the IP is resolving OK, so can rule that out! Now just need the provider to check the payments ......
Bravo17
Just checked my server, and it seems to be asking the DNS for master.tcadmin.NET, which resolves to 198.178.123.152 and appears to be a totally different server.
ECF
Recently Microsoft disabled SSLV3 within their software because of an exploit. .NET V1.1x uses this to reach out to our license server. If you are having problems please put in a ticket and Luis will give you the fix for it.
