Make TCAdmin FOSS (Free Opensource Software)

In that case, you should go with a free alternative. -

If you are a kid, yes. That's basically what a sponsorship means. If you're older, you know that a sponsorship consists of a mutual agreement. Like, "X provides a service free of charge to Y in return of free advertising space on their website". We've done a few sponsorships and we've never just done it because we're good people. It has always been in an effort to grow our business. The people we sponsor will promote our services to their audience. -

If you're not a business, then why would you do sponsorships? TCAdmins main customerbase is game server providers or communities with an income. -

And that would indeed be a very bad business plan. -

It wouldn't make any sense for TCAdmin to sponsor licenses. TCAdmin's main customer base is game server providers - the end users are mainly people who rent game servers. I don't see how TCAdmin would benefit from a regular sponsorship in any way. -

I understand. But if you can't find $60 per year ($5 per month) for something that your business relies on, you do not have a healthy business model. If you're not running a business, then you should be satisfied with whatever someone has made available to you for free. -

There are multiple other control panel for hosting game servers that are open source. If the answer to your problem is that "the software needs to be open source", then go with one of those. If you run into an issue with the software, however, you're pretty much on your own. We very often hear about how people think TCAdmin is too expensive, but they don't want to use any of the other free alternatives that exists. If you're a business and can't afford $300.00 as a one-time fee (you don't have to renew support and updates), you probably shouldn't be running a business. But, I don't even see how it could be a problem finding the $60 per year for updates and support. When I was ~14 years old, we managed to build a very small game hosting company and pay the TCAdmin license fee. Sure, the first month we paid out of our own pocket, but that's just how it works. You want your entire business model to rely on TCAdmin but you don't want to pay? I'm sure you can see how that doesn't sound right. -
@Rislem an update is coming. I've already updated the config to remove all ControlPanel settings, replaced them with WebDashboard and included the new options. I'm just having difficulties getting the new webtokens working.

windows/linux [Official] Minecraft (Automatic Java Version - Multiple Mods)
Dennis replied to Dennis's topic in Game Config Files
You're not running the latest version of TCAdmin if you're getting that error. It was fixed long ago. Also, please note that the issue has nothing to do with the Minecraft game template. The Minecraft modpacks are part of the Custom Mods module for TCAdmin - please don't ask for support for that in this thread. -
The Game ID field can be left blank if you're using a configurable option to select the ID.
-
@blob you define the name of the config file in the field "Config File" in WHMCS. If you enter "minecraft.php", you need to call the file "minecraft.php" and place the file in the /modules/servers/tcadmin2_advanced/ folder. The example I posted was from here: https://help.tcadmin.com/TCAdmin2_advanced_module_for_WHMCS#Examples

I'm not sure if Mono is available on CentOS Stream 9. It's not listed as a supported distro from Xamarin.

windows/linux Valheim (V+ support and custom scripts)
Dennis replied to Dennis's topic in Game Config Files
That's not an issue with the game template so you need to create a ticket to have that issue resolved. -
Ah, I understand now. Sorry for the confusion.
-
AFAIK, that has always been the case. The menu items will stay expanded when you navigate to another page.
-
@4evergaming which API call is that?
-
The "manual-hover" class is applied to any menu item that is expanded. If you expand Home, Service Management, Server Management and System, all of them would have the class added. AFAIK, non of the default TCAdmin themes applies any CSS to the "manual-hover" class.

Hi. Web console should be working fine. Are you using Windows or Linux? If it's just spinning, try restarting the Service Manager and Monitor service. -

That's not an issue with the Minecraft config. It's fixed in the next version of TCAdmin, though. -
windows/linux ARK: Survival Evolved (Supports Clusters)
Dennis replied to Dennis's topic in Game Config Files
@MillerCKT01 the issue has been fixed in the latest version of this game template. The private rule for this game was set to 'password' while it should be 'passworded'. You can either install the latest config or make the change manually in your current configuration. A private server is a game service that must have a password. I don't know if this is still the case, but years ago game hosts used to offer private services for a cheaper price. Since the service was private, it was - in theory - using less resources to run. A public server can be joined by anybody. A public server can also have a password, though - but a private server must have a password. -

Are you sure the service has a private password configured? It needs that if you set it to be a private service. -
windows/linux [Official] Minecraft (Automatic Java Version - Multiple Mods)
Dennis replied to Dennis's topic in Game Config Files
Forge would require manual installation as of now. TCAdmin does however have have a feature called Custom Mods that you can configure. It would allow you to easily install modpacks from FTB and CurseForge. -

You can find updates in the service menu. It's on the left side, along with the File Manager, Commandlines, Service Settings etc. The easiest way to add updates for Minecraft, is to use the following module: -
WHMCS still supports PHP 7.4 (even the newer versions). The module is compatible with PHP 8.1 - you just need to update the module. The module was updated in January. You can see information about the module (along with a download link) here: https://help.tcadmin.com/TCAdmin2_advanced_module_for_WHMCS#Download
