the problem with uploading backups is that the ftp server is open. file safety is important. the provider should.. a) run raid b) allow the client to easily zip the contents they want to save. c) allow remote ftp. all these things are available within TCAdmin so this isn't really an issue. your clients should be told to keep backups regularly. (incase of a bad failure)

You're able to send an email on a rule change via the GamePanel automatically, notifying you and the client of the reason.

Great Update Luis. I've noticed the querying can be a little slow when selecting a larger group of items. Could you maybe make it query by the page? not the whole amount of the category? This would improve loading times.

Maintenance Mode For Individual Game Servers
CloudCUBE replied to barrycarey's topic in Feature and Module Ideas
You realize you can still use commandline right, debugging in TCAdmin isn't exactly the easiest or best option. -
Use the CWMyAdmin wrapper and you can get it to be somewhat configurable.
-
If your setup is done correctly you'll have Internal and WAN on seperate links. As for the multi-threaded downloads, Locally it's not going to make a difference. The limitation with your current setup is the way FTP works with multiple files. if you just .zip the contents you'll acheive greater speeds due to FTP not connecting and listing each file as it progresses.

Make sure you remove any spaces within the text Edit: silly me. copy your java folder from Program Files into the Minecraft folder.

That's because TCAdmins default firewall rules aren't really fantastic. TCAdmin will allow the application to use any port (pointless really) since Minecraft is a Java process you need to allow the Java application inbound connections. TL;DR Use this script. Add it in Games > Minecraft > Custom Scripts -- Before Created -- netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="ID:%ThisService_ServiceId% USER:%ThisUser_UserName% GAME:%ThisGame_ShortName% IP/PORT:%ThisService_ConnectionInfo% TCP" dir=in action=allow program="C:\TCAFiles\Users\%ThisUser_UserName%\%ThisService_ServiceId%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" localport="%ThisService_GamePort%,%ThisService_RConPort%,%ThisService_CustomPort1%,%ThisService_CustomPort2%,%ThisService_CustomPort3%,%ThisService_CustomPort4%,%ThisService_CustomPort5%" protocol=TCP -- Before Deleted -- netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name="ID:%ThisService_ServiceId% USER:%ThisUser_UserName% GAME:%ThisGame_ShortName% IP/PORT:%ThisService_ConnectionInfo% TCP"

Sounds interesting, does it have server support that isn't rubbish? edit: to elaborate on that - editable ip and port binding - command line - any config at all
-
Is this for external downloads? I don't see any issues deploying mods/updates in the GBs if you just .zip the files.
-
Use the updates feature in the games config to enable the user a choice between versions. If you're replacing the file manually and running user per service run the repair file permissions tool.
-
Use the same game config, a minecraft update is only deployed in a .jar
-
You need to do it via each game config within Feature Permissions

Zombie Panic source Game Config Files for Version 2

Here you go. ZPS - Windows.xml -
Im guessing the same as V1 with online users, port utilization and ftp bandwidth
-
Here you go. This is TShock for Windows. TER - Windows.xml
-
try disabling it from the monitor console with 'service ftp stop'

215350 on a steamaccount through steamcmd works fine for me, have you tried again?

There is a problem with how TCAdmin renders on webkit browsers, as described above. I don't see any reason to be supporting old versions of opera when it will be moving to webkit anyway.
-
TCAdmin 2 isn't really built for Linux, it's not native.
-
in TCAdmin2\Monitor\Services you'll find TCAGame_xxx information.
-
Backup and restore the database.
-
Why are you changing files around, TCAdmin2 already comes with HLDSUpdatetool and Steamcmd. Make sure you have SteamCMD in TCAdmin2\Monitor\Tools\SteamCmd Run SteamCmd Manually within that folder so it downloads and updates it may need, then try from TCAdmin

I wouldn't say it's so expensive anymore. but in comparison to the US and EU then yes. I would suggest looking at the current graph every hour for the next few hours and working out an average. I would also recommend charging a price to cover this kind of usage, instead of changing advertised prices as it's confusing to the customer. I think tcadmins database will show you data usage but doesn't graph it.
