  1. Umm... The link goes direct to the STEAm forums and walks you through the process step by step.

  3. And here is the creation page that resellers would see when creating a new server. On the right hand side of the screen there will be a display of how many slots the reseller currently has for each package eg. games, vent, mohawk, TS ect...
  4. Ok folks here is how the package system is shaping up. I have attached some screns for eveyone. Luis will be adding the option to specify datacenter and/or specific server for things to be installed to. Please provide feedback.

    Sneak Peek

Master servers can be run on linux, and yes mono will still be required.

Yes, the template is simply the color scheme that was used from one of the version 1 themes. The software has been completely re-written from the ground up using the latest ajax controls and incorporates ASP.NET 3.5. The current developement set that Luis is using hosts a ton of new features that we plan on using. There is a full reporting module that we have no even touch on yet. But I can think of one great report set to have and that would be for the reseller module to show how many slots each client has running Yes you are correct that there is a "runas" tab and yes it is functional. The old method of running a TCAdmin service to control each game service has been replaced with a server monitor which keeps track of all the programs running on each server. So there will only be 2 TCAdmin services running per box. The monitor service and the service control manger. This will cut down on RAM usage and will also allow you to run as many programs as you like since they will no longer be running aswindows services. In addition there will be a service manager program file that you can use while logged into the actual box to control the games and or voice servers. See attached screenshot.
  7. As you all noticed version 2 will provide support for linux. Currently we have it running as a master server, remote server and even on a webserver. However the webserver needs a bit of work as it has a memory leak that Luis needs to find.

New File Permission System is configurable for each game or voice server configuration. The new system is granular right down to individual files or file types.

A few more screens... The server widgets you see are both moveable and can be minimized and maximized. As you can see they can also have settings applied to them. This is just one of the many widget controls that you will find throughout the panel.
  10. Just to prove V2 does exist...
  11. Thanks for the input Pat. I am not sure what limitations the current version has but I do not see a problem with Luis adding something like this.
  12. Thanks Alex. Version 2 will be very similar in setup to version 1 so I am sure it will work for controlling it. Now we just need to see what additional advanced features that we can add such as those like we have within the Teamspeak integration. Any ideas, please let us know.
  13. Luis is hard at work on it. The first order of business will be the resellers module. There will be some time involved as he needs to create a system to allow selling blocks of slots as well as allowing the reseller to have their own web template for the panel so it matches their site.
  14. With TS3 slated to be released in December I figured a forum designated to ask and answer questions was needed. System Compatibility Windows XP - 32 and 64 bit Windows Vista - 32 and 64 bit Windows 7 MAC OS Linux - 32 and 64 bit Please feel free to browse the info links posted here, and we will continue to update the forum with information as we get it. Currently we have a few links to share with you about TS3. General TS3 information: http://teamspeak.com/?page=teamspeak3 Other Informational links: http://teamspeak.com/?page=faq http://teamspeak.com/?page=faq&cat=ts3athp&rate=156#athp_tcadmin Podcast links: http://www.youtube.com/user/teamspeakpodcasts#p/u (Part 1) http://www.youtube.com/user/teamspeakpodcasts#p/u/0/rwOpvgVeVGI (Part 2) Licensing will be a bit tighter than the current V2 model. Persons wishing to become an authorized provider will be required to prove that they are a registered company and provide Triton CA with proof of identity as well as signing a contractual agreement with them. I for one think this is a great idea as it will weed out the non-licensed or underaged hosters and will also allow authorized hosters the ability to resell to these smaller hosters while keeping the quality of the product up. We are currently working directly with Triton CA to get a working integration going for TCAdmin. We will also be working with them to introduce reselling in our upcoming version 2 of our software.
  15. Currently Luis is working on autoupdating and then will be starting on the resellers. Even though he hasn't posted anything here he is reading this forum for info. After autoupdates is completed we will start allowing access for you folks to the alpha version.
  16. Most likelyit will be a while Rich. Luis has an alpha version running which contain the core features such as start, stop, query, ftp pb and hlds updates. However since the new version will be modular he has not added any of the advanced modules that clients will be looking for. We will be adding modules one or two at a time so we can collect feedback from the testing group so that the modules work as they should out of the box so to speak. The alpha version works perfectly as I have been testing it for about a week now. Are you looking for a specific timeline due to a feature that you need now or are you just asking in general?

You may want to ask them. They may have created there own control system for it.

Well you have posted a link to the client program not the server program. The server files are here: http://www.shockvoice.net/page/dlfile/file=svserver-0.9.1.2577-win32-community.zip Also after looking at the program it installs its own windows service which the server runs under. So you would not be able to use TCAdmin to control it.
  19. The V2 menus are much easier to move around in. They may need to be tweaked a bit but they are ajax menus with the sub-menus right under them. I believe that Luis liked the WHMCS smart search so much he was going to include that as well.
  20. Thanks for the input Rich.
  21. I understand what you are getting at, however I am trying to wrap my head around how a billing system would handle this. We do not want TCAdmin keeping track of any financial data regardless of the source since it is not a billing panel.
  22. I think we are getting to far into the billing system realm on this Patrick. All monetary transactions should be handled via a billing system. But we will see what Luis can come up with.
  23. TCAdmin 2 will be modular in nature. This means that each major feature set will be its own module that can be on or off. Please try to keep threads on a specific topic. When you create a thread please post clearly what feature or feature set you are looking for, and provide as much information as to how it should appear in the panel as well as operate. Thank you!
  24. One of TCA2's new features will be a resellers module which will allow GSP's to setup reseller accounts so that third parties may resell your game and voice services. Luis has currently created a security template for resellers for locking down what they can and cannot do. However there is much work to be done on the user side of things such as how reselling will be handled and templates for both web and emails. We would like to hear from you folks as to how you think the reseller module would best work, and which features you would like to see in this module. Please try to be as realistic in your responses as possible and understand that we cannot code a module that will fit everyone to the letter. Thank you for your input.
