The best thing about TCA is trying new tings I always find what works on one os does not work on another.

The steam cmd works on windows haven't tried on Linux. I know people have been having probs with doing it on linux. As for the ark mod ID that was put in there not so long ago

you can use Steam cmd to download workshop mods/addons. But with ark ya just put then mod id into the config file and the server will auto download the mod and keep it updated.

no need for it in the command like just set it up to use the ini config file

You will find moat of the pop games (servers) out there you will get min support as ppl dont like to shear there configs as thy spent hours getting them working. But yah as i said just use Insurgency's one and change the .exe name and ya be sweet

haven't tryed with $[HostName] but setting up a variable it works server\![identity]\cfg\serverauto.cfg

all depending what you want done depends on the price. can start at like $100 and go to $1000 eazy.

So i have a master setup with a slave all working but 80% of the time when thy are talking to each other thy time out. Master to slave have a ms of around 280 could that be the prob? Would i be better setting up 2 masters seeing as the slave is based in EU and master is NZ based. I see a lot of other gsp run a master in each place thy host aka one master in EU,USA and so on. shot, Goatboy

Bet me to it @dennis The eazy fix for this is to run on a Linux box. After testing all different ways over the last cup of days i have found windows is just shit from running it on made a config for linux and boom no prob at all. This is just one of those games that likes to be a bitch at the best of times.

Are you running windows or Linux? also are you running TCA1 or TCA2 I know that 90% of the user made configs are made for windows also most of them neeed tweaking to work. As for videos on how to make and what not there is nothing apart from the TCA wiki. In my eyes you are best to know how it all works if you are going to offer hosting to people. is you tcadmin on the same network as you? aka are you ruuning the server hosted on a dedi or hosted on you home network. Also i know that the 7dtd config on here is way out of date last time i cheched it didnt work at all. The inf you have given us done not rely help. lol

I am getting nothing in my logs any the mods are set so users can install them but when ya click on mods nothing lol. Does anything have any idears lol

Just delete ark. If we all did this GOD might come back to earth.
