GGawaran Posted January 5, 2007 Share Posted January 5, 2007 First off, for everyone who has been helping us set up, thank you very much, everything is running as planned, well everything that weve been able to figure out. Now the problem lies with Steam. I understand that for the other games, simply put the server files in the allocated place, and ta da it works, however I just cant figure it out with steam. For one, I placed the CS files in the cs folder, it showed up on the creat a game server option. Says its running but I dont see it. I have steam setup and installed and just dragged files over. HIS-MOTHER Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 I also posted here before a precompiled folder with all the neccesary .bat files if running a command line is too complex for some. http://snmservers.com/downloads/Counterstrike_Tools.rar Just run the HLDSupdatetool.exe then edit the .bat file of your game choice to point to the install directory.
