Ftp....

Having issues with FTP...Firewall is disabled just to make sure it is not blocking, I test the port and it shows as open from the outside....If I try to login with an ftp client it gives me a connection refused message. IIS is running, and also the ftp server with IIS, should this be disabled? From what I gather FTP accounts should be created with the game server, yet I am not able to connect to any of them, setup through the user/gameserver process, or the ftp account setup....Any help or ideas on what may be causing this problem are welcome. Thank you.

A) Are you using the correct port?

B) Have you checked your logs?

 

If yes to "A" refer to "B", if none of the above helps or sheds light on it refer to Luis. LOL

I bet the TCA FTP and MS FTP are both set to port 21. Either change one of them or disable MS FTP

Whynot just use the built in FTP that TCA provides?

Most likely IIS FTP is active and on port 21. Disable IIS FTP and you should be fine.

Thanks guys, IIS FTP was the problem. I figured it was but didn't want to disable it if required by TCAdmin....Appreciate the help.
