Can't find any information on getting dedicated server files other than buying the game and adding -server to the command line. They have dedicated files available for download?

That is only the dedicated server executable. You still need the full set of files from the game CD.

I made the config by downloading the demo they have availible and work through the config files from it. I assume the full game will be the same format.

Sorry guys youll have to buy the game. We had too One of our customers even said downloading a copy of the game and using a keygen doesnt work... Just be careful, the way this "amazing" engine is coded itll have the power to take down a whole Core2Duo E6600 Processor with 4GB RAM offline with its supurb way to take 100% cpu when it feels like it.

 

Oh it also thinks Microsoft's Process Explorer is a bad/illegal game cracking software and youll get a securerom message if you ever run it on a server. Random but we had huge problems because of it

Heard the same results from other sources as well. It doesn't like to play with the CPUs nicely.

Here is our cfg, runs ok for us, its CPU heavy for sure, I'm sure someone will host it for 99 cents a slot.

the 105 server exe didnt like it, I didnt try it for 106 so I just ported it

What should be the game compatability mode? GameSpy3 doesn't work like all others GameSpy versions.

 

It always show "No results were returned." but server works fine.

 

If there is a mistake in configuration - what it could be then?

Not a supported game, so couldn't tell you. Maybe try Gamespy 1,2 or 4?

Game-Monitor doesn't show status too. It says that server has not been responding to queries for a long time.

We would need more infomormation in regards to the query.

 

As I stated above it is not a supported game, so the query most likely will not work.

I've made it. To all who probably have same difficulties:

1) Only Use Server's Primary IP

2) Default Port=Default Query Port=Default RCON Port=2302

3) Game Compatibility: GameSpy2

 

and that is it!

The query method does work, I have a dedicated client with 4 server running.

 

ECF - how come you don't have it listed as a supported game since the game works fine with TCAdmin and queries?

We are cautious to add new game until we know they fully work. Otherwise if we add it to our supported games list people expect every function of it to work.
