@Goran

Using that config, the user would be unable to edit the slot count and such as you say, and having viewd the command line, they are indeed admin only.

However you only have %usercmdline% foer the sustom line option, and this confuses me. If the user can create their own command line, but cant change the command line options for slots etc, they would then be left from the command line and the server would not work.

Have I got that wrong?

@Everyone

Am I right in saying that even with the 1.3 patch, server still require a gamespy id to be listed?

Thanks.

because the query port is wrong for a start

it should be 6500 :)

* 6500 (Query)

* 6515 (Dplay UDP)

* 7777 (Port for UT3 - default is 7777, you can change in server setup)

* 13000 (Port for UT3)

* 13139 (Custom UDP Pings)

* 27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)

TCP:

* 3783 (Voice)

* 6667 (IRC)

* 28900 (Master Server List Request)

* 29900 (GP Connection Manager)

* 29901 (GP Search Manager)

make sure it runs via .bat first

IE make a command line put it in a .bat and run it to make sure it starts even before adding it to tcadmin

that's what it is set at already. And still tcadmin does not show it as running with JasonF's config

You must use the -login= and -password= command line for the server to register. I just tested a v2.0 server and it would not work without logging into the account server.
