Crysis it's a Crytek game, not activision and there are not real ranked mode (only stats still in beta).

We had several problems with Crysis, starting with punkbuster configuration that hangs Crysis. The bigger problem is when you try to load a map in wrong mode (ie a PS map in IA game mode), the server is not responding at all.

Set log to 3 in server.cfg and check messages ;)

We used to use Hypernia and rented Ranked servers. The only Ranked server that can't be rented is 2142. All others can be rented you just can't put it as the Server name ie: We rent servers for $2 or say you are an Official Provider of Ranked EA Ranked Servers. That's what Hypernia told us anyways.

Activision does not control Ranked like EA. Anyone can run a Ranked COD4 server. No special exe file needed.

The best thing we did was to build our own and colocate. Hell of a lot cheaper and easier to upgrade.

As Jason has stated, you are NOT allowed to resell any of the following ranked game titles: Battlefield 2142 Ranked, ET:QW Ranked, ands Crysis Ranked.

However, the Crysis servers installed by us at this time can be resold, as they are not "ranked".

The "ranked" for Crysis never becamse much of anything, then a unlock or two for people who pre-paid for the game.
