That is quite funny. I wonder which site was live first? I would guess that someone at theplanet saw the GM site and said "I want that" and hired a team to do it... just my guess though

The previous TP design was ripped off from a Template Monster design so I would assume that GM was first.

lol, id also agree about the GM site being the first site. I got a slight feeling the GM have plenty enough money not to rip someones work!

Except for the fact that the planets site loads like @ss for me while GM loads in about 0.00003 seconds. Also The planets flash images never show up properly for me. Probably because it loads so damn slow.

Yes does look like a mix of Softlayer and layered tech.

 

Maybe ThePlanet is not aware of their design looking like GM's, designer is in for it.

Sure is a reminder of back then eh Jason. I was upset when those brand identities were lost at TP, and now they are back at it.

 

GM Website works a heck of a lot better than TP's version, which still does display 100% correct for me.

You guys are too young. I was with TP when that was all that they had. Then they started SM, then the others, then the merger, and all back to just TP, now they are going back in the direction of multiple lines.
