hosting4u
Hello GSP's, Since I am semi-new to the game, I have a situation and I really don't feel comfortable with after reading the Fraud Alert Thread. I have a possible client wanting to know how much I would charge him for a Year for a game server and a 15 Slot Team Speak server as he wants to pay a year up front. Now I have a couple of clients that could do that easily but they went month to month. Now should this be something I may want to be concerned about? Thanks Folks. ECF
You could always send him a contract to sign and fax back to you...
HIS-MOTHER
Also if the funds come from a paypal account and not a CC attached to the account he has only 45 days to dispute it. if Its a CC it all depends on the CC issuing bank and there policy regarding amount of time to file a CB. bfarrell
Just make sure all his info lines up, and if theres any red flags make some calls. Otherwise, don't be too worried, people do this a lot
swish
This is one of the main reasons why we do Not do any other payment plan then monthly. Once we stopped the 3/9/12 month terms it has cut backo n fraud chargebacks alot.

JasonF
Not always, but a lot of the time, fraudulent chargers sign up for the most slots and the longest contract term. Some are so ridiculous it is easy to see.
