Hazz
Hey there, really liking the look of this game panel. I currently run a dedicated box for our clan and community, however when one of our Counter-Strike Source servers crash it can sometimes cause lag across the whole box, more a less when a server crashes it maxes out the CPU. I was wondering, with this panel, will it restart the server that has crashed so it doesn't cause any problems across the box? Also, can I assign different servers to each core, say one server to core 2, the other to core 4... Thanks for your time
JasonF
Yes to both questions.
Hazz
Ah great, where abouts in the demo panel can I find the affinity settings? I've looked under the affinity settings however it doesn't give you a choice which core to set the server to.
ECF
You will need to use the admin login and the affinity settings are located under "service settings".
Hazz
Yes, but theres nothing next to the "Affinity" bit on the admin panel.... It just has the tick boxes which aren't relevant.
ECF
Those are the cores that you can select by ticking one. If you want them game to run on all cores simply leave the boxes unticked.

Hazz
Ah, I see! Thanks a lot for all your help, I will be getting in touch with our provider soon.
Hazz
Our provider doesn't offer TCadmin. So, could I get the TCadmin webhosting and the master server lease? Would this work for the one dedicated box we run?
ECF
Yes you can. You probably don't even need the webhosting though. You can just use the access database on your server. It uses very little resources.
Hazz
Ah ok, not really good with the whole website/database thing, how do you go about setting up a access database for TC admin?
ECF
Our software comes with an installer. You just walk through the wizard.
Hazz
Excellent, where does this panel stop?
KOhosting
It doesn't man . If you have installed anykind of CMS with an installer(i.e. PHP NUKE, MAMBO, JOOMLA, SMEEGO, etc.) and you don't mind reading and searching these forums for help regarding your questions then you can do this. Best of luck in your decision;
