HIS-MOTHER
250 MB RAM running idle with no players. LOL 136 here.. Looks like it releases it all the way down to 6MB then slowly incriments back up. Edited October 29, 2008 by HIS-MOTHER
ECF
The COD4 engine is a RAM hog. However it is light on the CPU.
SickPuppy
The COD4 engine is a RAM hog. However it is light on the CPU. There is a script that runs through PB that helps keep the ram usage low. It works by dumping cvar and md5 checks out of the ram after they run. It works on AA it should work with COD

Dan M
Usually DX9 isn't installed, which is needed for the game to run. I just reinstalled DX9 and it worked.
binaryg
ok as i thought we did have the latest version of it plus i reinstalled it just in case. we do have 5 servers up ourselfs and they are working fine it is just when we try to set them up through tcadmin they dont work. all the files install but thats it. as for the bat file is it posible to use that throught tcadmin and have it dynamic would it not be just them same as making a shortcut and adding your command line

binaryg
yea i have had a few crash but i have not had time to look at it yet. also the problem i was having has now been sorted just thought i would let your all know because i hate it when people dont share there solution. when tcadmin was starting the game it was asking to startin safe mode and that was why it was not working. once again thanks to the support as always top notch. binaryg
in my config it was only the twar server that where crashing and i needed to add these 2 to the game type settings. set scr_twar_timelimit "10" set scr_twar_playerrespawndelay "7" set scr_twar_waverespawndelay "7" it seams to be working so far but if to many dogs grenade or peeps die then it will still crash looks like on release day we will have to patch up. do game developers give a toss about the people who founded online gaming anymore Edited November 1, 2008 by binaryg correct vars
