AA3 and TS3 config

I can't run AA3 dedicated server on my dedicated server; I run the myrunserver.bat and it just closes out on me after I attempt to create a server. When I use AA3 dedicated server on my home PC, it works just fine. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

You need to install the dx drivers for the game.

Jason...I agree with you 100%....why do these project managers take such an awesome engine that can do so much and just dump it on the game aspect....take another few months, year, whatever it takes to COMPLETE the game prior to launch.

Sad but true but how much longer do you think they needed? it's already been in the works for over 2 years.

well when your dealing with the Army and all its political BS, it probably would take them 10 years. Hell AA still isn't fixed.

And now we got companies reverse engineering the MBS system, and like they aren't having enough problems with it, they have the extra load of GameTracker, and Battletracker illegally accessing the MBS system for game stats, because AA ~chose not to purchase a license for GameSpy. good move....

 

Any bets on whether or not GS gets their license pulled? lol

Ok guys need some help. So im trying to setup AA3 on Tcadmin. I got all the game files and the aa3game.ini file uploaded and setup. How do i configure tcadmin install?

 

What would i put for the relative executable since there is no .exe server file to start the server?

 

Let me know. I havnt setup a AA server before so ill need some help.

So i uploaded the config and the AA3game.ini file and TCadmin creates the game server and it appears running except it is not on gametracker or game-monitor or the servers list (aa3 site).

 

What is missing? I updated directX as required.

 

Am i missing anything else? Any new updates that i might be missing?

AA3 will not show up on the server list unless it is authorized.

Alright so all is set so thats cool. Now i got a new problem. For some reason in game it says pb is not updated. I update pb via utility in TCA and also manually push the update and still no go. using pbsvc everything looks fine.

 

I have looked around and see that there has been some pb bug issues but anyone have any idea? It seems to be communicating with the pb servers properly so im not sure what it could be.

did u have AA3 installed on ur PC? If so, just take that file up to ur server....
