ECF
Assuming you are reffering to Paypal, I would get on the phone with them immediately and see what is going on. Also change your password immediately. I know recently there was a Paypal scam email that we received. Hopefully you didn't fall prey to it... Forward all suspicious emails to spoof@paypal.com They are usually pretty good at getting the offending sites taken down or the bogus email accounts disabled. If it is legit they will reply and let you know.
Jesse
Well the odd thing about this is no one else has ever had the log-in to the account and the only way I log-in to the account is a copy and paste from a text file.

Copy pastes can be logged with keyloggers.

Defcon|Rich
Works just fine. It sends out a random string of numbers each time you log in. Pretty much bulletproof security for your account.

Dan M
I've got two of those, one for my Blizzard account and another for one of my control panels I developed, definitely beneficial.
potato
Copy pastes can be logged with keyloggers. agreed and most keyloggers are undetected. you may not even know you have one. also it could be part of a botnet where they can use you to ddos. just an idea... studeggle
Yea, I just ordered a key only $5 so it's for sure worth the money. Ouch remind me not to loose mine. When I got mine they were free but that was close to when they first had the idea. And I would agree the security they add is well worth it. And what happens if someone gets there hands on that text file, especially if they get there hands on it and you don't realize. Keeping passwords written down is one of the most common ways of getting your accounts broken into. Best to keep it in your head, as stated key loggers and other things can capture copy and paste so that doesn't protect against the bad stuff and provides one more venue for your stuff to be compremised. Your accounts are only as safe as you surf the internet.
