Assuming you are reffering to Paypal, I would get on the phone with them immediately and see what is going on. Also change your password immediately.

I know recently there was a Paypal scam email that we received. Hopefully you didn't fall prey to it...

Forward all suspicious emails to spoof@paypal.com They are usually pretty good at getting the offending sites taken down or the bogus email accounts disabled.

If it is legit they will reply and let you know.

Well the odd thing about this is no one else has ever had the log-in to the account and the only way I log-in to the account is a copy and paste from a text file.

And what happens if someone gets there hands on that text file, especially if they get there hands on it and you don't realize. Keeping passwords written down is one of the most common ways of getting your accounts broken into. Best to keep it in your head, as stated key loggers and other things can capture copy and paste so that doesn't protect against the bad stuff and provides one more venue for your stuff to be compremised.

unless you are on sketchy porn sites every night , having a text file shouldnt affect anything. Your accounts are only as safe as you surf the internet.
