Someone had made a topic about what phone they used to do server work... so it got me searching for a phone but none were powerful enough and I ended up coming upon this

Fits in your pocket and is a decent computer to run a couple apps like Skype, LiveChat, and Remote Desktop.............. I'm picking it up this week.

So... does anyone else have any cool tools they use for business???? :)

The I-Phone does all the above...

Yep I've been quite happy with my Iphone. remote desktop, voip, hyper terminal, unhindered web browser, only thing it lacks is a large screen and ergonomic keyboard but thats what realcomputers are for LOL.

It of course does have it's advantages since it is built as a computer and not as a phone.

As far as Blackberry.... They suck. There I said it. Now I will go put on my flame proof undies.

Definately unsure sure how you can say BB's suck (glad you put your flame panties on though) -- They might not have a 'fake lighter' app (or maybe we do) but you will not see a single iphone on the trading floor, why? because the email/connectivity sucks donkeyass. All those fancy 'apps' do no good when a million dollars can be lost in a split second. Everyone here has BB's, and this is the reason I too love a BB. (though lately BBM has been a bit shithole-ish)

And yes, I am anti-apple :) For life!

The androids are nice aswell :) Only issue I seem to have with the one I utilized was viewing webpages w/java was rediculous slow. Seemed like it ate 100% of the resources. (utilizing opera mini)

I use mine to connect to an MS Exchange server for email and have no issues.

I guess it comes down to personal preference. I see no major reason to choose one over another. They all do the same thing.

Palm Pre offers the same very high end O/S like an iPhone, but has a physical keyboard. Hard to beat.

Right now I'm using a Nexus One, which is Google's "Super Phone", it runs the latest Android, and it's pretty good too. Very fast with a SnapDragon 1GHZ CPU.

HTC HD2 (windows phone) does a great job with windows remote desktop included and free.

Planning to buy a Lenovo tablet PC, thats hybrid laptop/tablet and looks very nice, ways better than ipad.

Pocket size was key for me

ye well I would say windows phone for the pocket size and a good laptop is the best for mobility. so you can receive ur emails and do urgent work from ur phone and then do the rest on comfortable keyboard.

Im interested in feedback on pocket PC's still, if theres one good enough and with a decent keayboard I could change my mind.
