icekohl
I'll build one next week when I get access. I'm not on TWI's mailing list (someone want to PM me that, lol) so I've got to wait like the rest of the public. I've got orders lined up, looks like this will sell well. xcalibur
You can get the dedicated server files via steam tools or steamcmd. As for the game, the 21st
jeromehaynes
As soon as it's out I will be building one with the usual gizmos and addons I include in my configs :') , if someone beats me to it I'll use theirs as a template. We preferably need configs for Windows + Linux (I assume it supports both)

ECF
For those who can't wait... http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=105266 Should be the same config as KF1 with a few tweaks for the .exe file. Might download it tonight and see how it runs.

proclan
There's really no need to build qizmo's because tripwireinteractive uses there own web admin tool which does a fine job for admin purposes. Here's a quick cfg that works fine: We use a different port for the web admin 8075 instead of 8080 which is default.killingfloor2 - Windows.xml

It's actually the UE web admin that's been around since uhm ... 99 maybe but I digress. Thanks for sharing your config, I'll take a look at it. proclan
If you don't want the KFWeb.ini file getting over written on new installs you'll need to remove the DefaultWeb.ini file from your game files. xcalibur
Does this config have the right Query protocol? Doesn't seem like halflife 2 new is the correct one as killing floor 1 used ut2004

Dennis
There's a high chance that it's using the UT3 query protocol - or GameSpy v4 Edited April 24, 2015 by DennisMidjord
Raizio
Nope, it uses steamworks, so Half life 2 new as query protocol. I've passed mine along here. They've been running smoothly. There's a config editor for the hostname; otherwise it's all done via commandline.kf2 - Windows.xml
proclan
Yes it uses steam you can find some info on there wiki: http://wiki.tripwireinteractive.com/index.php?title=Dedicated_Server_%28Killing_Floor_2%29 They implemented the web admin tool again (unreal option) just like RO2 and killing floor 1 there's really no need to make any customized cfg settings in tcadmin everything can be done in the web tool. Every client we have/had always requests it to be activated. There new version also allows changes to be made in real time like wave length, difficulty, kicks, banns, map changes etc without a server restart. Maybe the old version did this as well I can't remember.

xcalibur
Hmm, I keep getting this error. Hello , The server 192.227.136.147:8087 has not responded 5 times and has reached the maximum number of allowed failues. Please investigate. Best regards,
xcalibur
I got this fixed. The query port was added as 27015 but that didn't work. The log showed it started on 27025, once I changed it in tcadmin, it now works fine.
