  1. Being a GSP ain't easy. Your clients shouldn't know more about the software than you do. Take the time to learn about the software you're using.
  2. echo ${GameFilesPath}/what/about/know? >> /home/tcagame/result.txt
  3. TCAdmin only kills the process if you're not using the command to stop it. 'Stop console commands' is what you're looking for.
  4. Try with a new installation of SteamCMD. It might have saved something in a cache, resulting in the error.
  5. I think you might want to contact Luis about this.
  6. There has never been an option like that in TCAdmin. It'll force in the specified folder no matter what.
  7. We had a backup that we loaded, yeah. Never seen a database be that messed up before!
  8. Everything was stopped. Once TCAdmin had been stopped, it couldn't start again due to SQL errors. All of them.
  9. You could buy this script that we've made for handling databases: http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=11660
  10. There's a good chance that the Minecraft config is not outdated. We're using the default one with a couple of changes
  11. Yes. Collect all the files for Alits Life in a zip archive and put it in TCA.Mods. Make the server change commandline whenever the client installs the mod. Ez pz lemon squeezy
  12. Well, there's more reasons. He could've unticked the box that makes the game server appear in the list. I've also tried changing a Linux config to be a Windows config without being able to see the name in the list. Exporting the Windows config and then reinstalling it made it appear. But this surely is the most known cause.
  13. The files needs to be in the TCAdmin games folder.
  14. You'll need to create a ticket or make a thread on the forums.
  15. A bug is something that's not working correctly. Since it hasn't been implemented yet, it can't be a bug
  16. TCAdmin 2 is in beta. It's not a finished product. This is a feature to add, not something to fix.
  17. Care to explain? I'm interested in this. It sounds really clever to have the files in the game server directory, but I just can't see how you would update it...
  18. But what about security updates for Java? Are you manually going to replace all the Java files in each game folder? We're hosting more than 100 Minecraft servers at the moment, and having to replace the files whenever there's an update would be something that I'd hate.
  19. ... and how is Java protected in the game folder?

    Dota 2

    I'm clueless then... Sorry

    Dota 2

Oh, my bad... You need to search for 'Dota 2 server alliedmodders'. There should be a post containing a file for Windows srcds that you need...

    Dota 2

If you want to, I can take a look at it. Requires access to the Windows server and TCAdmin.
  23. Be sure that it's reading the right config file. That's always the case.
