  1. Thanks! I know that the chat from game servers in SteamCMD had been bugging a lot of people. Great work!
  2. Added: http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?p=71935#post71935
  3. TCAdmin was updated a couple of hours ago, and it introduces the new query protocol for Rising World. This config is just a very basic one, but you're free to customize it however you want. One thing to notice is that Rising World doesn't yet support SteamCMD (but Lucien says it will soon), so you need to upload updates manually. Requires Java to be installed. Enjoy. RW - Linux.xml
  4. Great news: Update for TCAdmin will most probably arrive within the next couple of days. I'll be posting the config for the game at that time. However, you must be prepared for something. This game is VERY early alpha. If something doesn't work, there's nothing I can do about it. I've been talking with Lucien and Red, and from what I understand, they're excited about this being 'integrated' into TCAdmin. Some more good news: I got in touch with some guys from Klei Entertainments (developing Don't Starve Together), and they gave me access to some beta server files. As of now, I can't see any way the server will work in TCAdmin since it saves both logs and settings in /home/username/.klei/DoNotStarveTogether/. From what I know, TCAdmin won't be able to show files from outside of the game's root folder. The server will be able to run, but clients won't be able to change anything. Seems like they are really eager for some input, so I went ahead and asked for the ability to specify a custom path (via command line) for the settings and log file. Would be great stuff! That will also be uploaded once everything is working.
  5. Try creating a Minecraft server (or similar) on the same IP and try to connect to it. If you still time out, the IP is the problem.
  6. Try starting the service from SSH/RDP: Troubleshooting Game & Voice Services Post all the output possible.
  7. Well, if there's no server files for Linux, then I can't make it. I refuse to have anything running through Wine.
  8. I can do a config for this. I haven't played the game much, but it shouldn't be difficult creating a basic config
  9. Tried restarting TCAdmin? What's in the logs?
  10. Just gonna throw this out there: There's a ton of documentation here: http://help.tcadmin.com/Main_Page Instead of spending time asking on the forums, you can try taking a look in the documentation - there's no guarantee you'll find what you're looking for, but you'll be able to save some time
  11. Config will be released when the next update of TCAdmin rolls out. It makes no sense to publish it now, since the query protocol that we have used for the game is not yet in TCAdmin. And don't worry, everything will work just fine. We were approached by JIW-Games (the developers), and they asked if we wanted to be their official host, so everything should be ez pz
  12. Setup the config template. A thing that is worth mentioning, is the fact that serverconfig.xml gets overwritten once you use SteamCMD to update the files. Everything in that file will be replaced with the default values. Use a custom server configuration instead (copy the default one and give it another name).
  13. Hmmm, I'm at a loss then. We're using Linux. If you're using Windows then that might be why it doesn't work, but I can't really tell. I've not put much work or interest into this game yet, unfortunately.
  14. That's a black screen, not blank Did you remember to hit 'Update existing service' and tried restarting the service manager and the server itself?
  15. Not everything is in TCAdmin by default. If you want TCAdmin to have a lot of features, you basically need to configure it to has so - it just gives the possibility.
  16. Wait, blank screen? Restart the monitor.
  17. Yes. Use the console output.
  18. This server on Linux is terrible. The servers we have running enterprise hardware can't run them, but a server bought for 12 euros from Kimsufi runs it without problems. The devs doesn't know why, and they haven't shown any sign of wanting to find the problem when I talked to them.
  19. Hmmm, I'm clueless then. If the IP is configured on the server, and you start the Minecraft server with that IP, then I can't see why it wouldn't work.
  20. If it says that, then the IP doesn't work on the server. By 'global', you don't mean the internal IP (192.168.x.xxx), do you? Because that won't work.
  21. The server.properties can't look like that. Minecraft creates it's on server.properties once it starts up. Open the server.properties (not the template, but the actual file) and look.
  22. That might be the problem. You can't start it on ip 0.0.0.0. It won't be able to query the server.
