  1. The price change wasn't a typo. It happened at the same time as they implemented their 'free' DDoS protection. Everybody thinks that 480Gbps sounds like the best protection you can ever find. What people seems to forget, is that ALL their customers share the SAME protection. I'm not saying it's bad, but I've seen new game hosts bragging about their "480Gbps protection", which to me is fooling the customers. After we switched to OVH, we haven't had any real issues with DDoS. Our servers, however, has big problems sometimes. According to them, our servers freeze, their's problems with the AC and such. They do intervene pretty fast, though. I ordered a new server recently (after they "opened up" for sales again) and received my server in a couple of minutes. I was pretty surprised.
  2. OVH had some issues some month ago. They changed their prices and received (I got this from a woman called Jenny from OVH) about 10.000 orders within a short time. Some people first received their servers about 2 months after they ordered them. But OVH is great.
  3. Sorry, but could this be made possible? Some of my customers would love that.
  4. You are using SteamCMD to download and update the games, right? HLDS is outdated.
  5. That would be LoginMainBody.
  6. So you want it to be like this? http://screencast.com/t/7zXb5dB6iwYQ If not, then I really don't know what you're talking about.
  7. Just to be clear; do you mean like this? http://screencast.com/t/ggMj4bbjI If so, changing LoginTable should do the trick.
  8. If you change the LoginTable class to use a custom picture, that would work. Eg. .LoginTable{ background:url('http://link.to/image.png') }
  9. Try changing the tcagame folder to tcagame using the chown command.
  10. What we did when we moved our servers, was creating a new server for each client. We then installed the specific game server using the Linux files and then we just uploaded the plugins, configs and what not. For Minecraft, this was pretty easy. Counter-Strike on the other hand was a bit more difficult. We first had to install SM and MM for Linux and then find all the files that our client had used (plugins, configs and extensions) and move them, too. It wasn't that difficult, but it took some time. Luckily, we had some customers that insisted on doing it themselves as they still had access to their old server. We gave them a couple of days to finish the moving
  11. Create new game servers. Most game servers have different files for Linux than for Windows. It's also not possible to move game servers between different operating systems in TCAdmin.
  12. Is it possible to use a Windows server to store all game files and then make Linux servers download files from that server? We're using a Windows server as Master server, and Linux for all remote servers. The Windows server has more disk space than our other servers, so we want to use it as a 'file server'. I've setup all the remote servers to download from the Windows master server, but since I can't download the Linux game files to a Windows server, I am stuck.
  13. Auto detecting CPU Using default binary: ./srcds_linux Using breakpad minidump system Using breakpad crash handler Unable to find gameinfo.txt. Solutions: 1. Read http://www.valve-erc.com/srcsdk/faq.html#NoGameDir 2. Run vconfig to specify which game you're working on. 3. Add -game <path> on the command line where <path> is the directory that gameinfo.txt is in. Unable to find gameinfo.txt. Solutions: 1. Read http://www.valve-erc.com/srcsdk/faq.html#NoGameDir 2. Run vconfig to specify which game you're working on. 3. Add -game <path> on the command line where <path> is the directory that gameinfo.txt is in. That is what it says when trying to start the server.
  14. Also, one more suggestion for BukGet: Would it be possible to search in all categories instead of having to select one?
  15. The Essentials plugin comes in a .zip file because it contains multiple files (Essentials.jar, EssentialsAntiBuild.jar, EssentialsChat.jar etc.). Essentials is a plugin that is used by most servers nowadays :-)
  16. Hi forum, We've used both Windows and Linux servers for our Master server, and I must say that TCAdmin loads rather slow on Linux. On Windows a page takes 0.12 seconds, and on Linux the same page takes 3 seconds to load on. Will TCAdmin generally run faster on Windows? If it does, we're gonna buy a Windows license.
  17. Great update!! Thanks! Edit: Some plugins are compressed in .zip when installed using BukGet. Will it be possible to extract the files automaticly when the client clicks 'Install'?
  18. Yeah, I finally got it working.. Kind of. When the game is being downloaded, it creates a folder called /System where the server's executables are located. However, when someone updates the server using SteamCMD, it deletes all files in /System, and it creates a new folder called /system where the executables are located.
  19. We're also having some slighty increased load times, but everything works fine.
  20. I think you need to go to Servers and choose the server. From there, you have to choose the Game & Voice Settings tab, and now you can set the directories. I'm not sure this is how it's done, but I would believe that this is the correct way.
  21. Well, we're only experiencing problems with Killing Floor, actually... We finally got it working, and it's able to run perfectly.... until we use the Steam Update, which apparently deletes most content of the /System folder.
  22. Yup, I just found out. Thanks for the help though
