  1. If you have all your legal stuff (business license etc.) in order then go for the license, it's not nearly as difficult as the Ventrilo application but it will expose any items you might overlook starting a new business. I'd suggest reselling via Darkstar, Hurricane or, Nation Voice for a year or until your at a comfortable profit level. There are some modules for WHMCS in the integration forum that you may look into that can help with reselling. Not sure if they will work with v2 though.
  2. I'm thinking this would be like the slot and private monitoring, set the quota for each in the game settings and have options for suspend, disable, stop, and email user. When/if a client reaches the limits you set. As for feature order I'd vote, Shock Disk Icons Bandwidth Support Now if the support ticketing system was to be usable by resellers for their clients, that changes things completely.
  3. It's been stated before that after a manual update you still need to run the web update so any DB changes are updated. Not sure if that applies to this update but can't hurt.
  4. Everything MeatWad minus maybe the basic.cfg and server.cfg depending on if you have TCA create them or not.
  5. Yep copy the files over. If it's an update you get through steam run a copy via batch file to check the .exe version. When I see an update I pop over to BI and download the patch there because I've seen steam update the client but not the dedi the last few times. If you have an instance that isn't showing up in the browser after a patch this would be most likely a version mismatch, hence why I go to the source for my updates.
  6. Where are you getting your build files from Lane? The steam build never works correctly in my experience so if your using those that's where I'd start. Retail box copies and the sprocket version have never let me down. Going off what Trevor stated, putting all your content into one should eliminate at least the content errors. Can take up quite a bit of space depending on what you include as a base. My A2 build is 18 Gigs, it's a hog for sure but, that's easily made up when someone orders a 30 slot. Kills 30% of the box but pays the bills for 2 boxes.
  7. Just run the OA server. PMC and British forces work fine as long as you have the correct mods in the command line. If you need an idea of how to build the command line then download the arma 2 launcher from armaholic and look at the output if you select CO from the drop down. As for the config I do not have one but if I was a betting man I'd say Dimitri has 1 he'd sell you.
  8. uhm... your not supposed to use v2 in a production environment last I read...
  9. you might PM xela or promethean
  10. I believe everything is in order now. Didn't even realize I was behind on updates.
  11. Active Directory is not installed/configured. Should I configure this or look at other options?

Count: 0 I don't see any glaring errors other than it showing .net 2.0. I've got 3.5 and sp1 installed. I reinstalled everything I could think of and can now at least connect to the loopback to try and configure but now getting an error in that. See attached .
  13. I've followed the documentation and immediately ran into problems. It seems that the public web server is not running, I've tried running it manually and it crashes immediately. I was able to run the site under IIS which I know is not how it's supposed to be done but that still didn't work as I have not been able to connect to the loopback address 127.0.0.1 so I could never configure it. I uninstalled v1 and IIS thinking this would maybe solve any possible conflicts but I'm still unable to reach v2 via outside or internal IPs. 2008 R2 .net 3.5 and sp1 installed Any ideas? Would like to exhaust any p2p help before putting in a ticket and granting RDP. Thanks peeps.
  14. You get everything sorted Xela? I might actually have some free time to get on skype this weekend if your still needing some help. Then again it is the 4th weekend so I may get caught in BBQs and fun with things that explode.
  15. Get Arma from sproket or d2d as the steam version does not play nicely with the dedicated server available from Bohemia. Also the steam version did not update the dedicated server version to 1.59 and I doubt steam will in update the dedi in the future. Best to go with the above or go buy a retail copy.
  16. I think everyone's doing the same thing. Checking here, finding none, running off to make their own. If I get a good one made and don't see another up yet I'll post it.
  17. Had remote instead of server manager in folder.. Oops on my part, sick and overlooked the obvious. Thx for the input vet.
  18. I tried this file and it didn't work out. I've probably got something in the wrong place and I'm starting to lose hair over it. If your still trollin these forums Dex I could use your assistance.
