In either case, regardless of which HD it is on you can create a startup file in cmd, or sh and have it run on startup, or you can easily make a shortcut to the monitor and then add the shortcut. Which OS do you use? Is this a clan server or a hosting server?
-
It normally is set to auto start, if not you can add it to your start menu and simply by dragging the application to the start menu, navigate to Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ and leave it under startup. If it is linux use the following guide: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AddingProgramToSessionStartup I'm not great with linux but have 1 box and use the ubuntu.com community forum for guidance.

Sounds interesting, could be a useful add for web hosting packages.

HL2 works well for our servers.

This is strange... sorry I wish I knew more about linux.

That does sound strange, I wish I could help. If Dennis has the details correct we may need more information to try to help trouble shoot for you. Setup, install paths, directory etc., command lines and any scripts you are using. This does not sound like a normal install so we need some understanding to really be able to help you.

Linux or Windows?

could be that your server is missing dependancies for the game

Hi, my experience yesterday was the game kept crashing on windows 2008 R2, have you reviewed the log file it may be incompatible. or crashing.

Ok, I looked and it seems you forgot to list where the game files can be found. In files and directories tab. You need to add the game location so that Files Folder Name equals "Unturned" or whatever name you want to use for the installation folder. The current way you have it, the game will install in the TCAGame root folder and not be contained in a usable folder. I also noticed that your command line is not correct. You have forgotten to use the service port number in the command line and the player number as follows: -pei -normal -pvp -sv -port:$[service.GamePort] -players:$[service.Slots] This should help get you in the game.

You have to select "Show in create list" on the config screen, just check the box and save.

Dayz is not hard, think of it as Arma 2 with mods and a modded command line is all. Best way to deal with it is to first create your running Dayz Server without TCAdmin and use that install as your DayzEpoch for creating more.

haha vuze lol, no rest for the wicked ;p I say either same datacenter or at least replicate.

Hi, I thought this would be useful. Currently we can send a mass email and select a force read etc., What about allowing us to send a message to a specific user that forces them to read, a lot of times a user will not log into the client area of the billing system or will miss an email that is specific to their billing etc. The ability to send a message directly to them ie, overdue account or pending service interruption where it can force them to see the notice with the popup screen would be good. Whether they were not aware of an outstanding, or they may be avoiding the situation this would remove doubt that they have not seen the notice. If it could be part of the Tcadmin Module for Whmcs as an option to push an overdue notice directly to Tcadmin as an email to the user it would be stellar.

Hi, I see allot of questions about server updates and various methods. Why not add a function so that a user with multiple machines can queue all servers to update a particular game on selected servers so that if the user had 5 different servers, each would run the update after the one before it was finished in a queue job. This way it would create an update file using the same name for simplicity when adding it to the config, and installing to each machine would simply be a queue that runs a series of servers which would each update one after the other. The user would then only have to start one update and have all servers run the same job. This would eliminate the need for tricks or hoops, or just waiting for each to finish to run the next one manually for those who don't have a fast download server, and they could all update in the selected order. Just a thought.

Question regarding fast download configuration?
PCGamersportal replied to Evilsystem's topic in TCAdmin Version 2
I'm up to the same thing, I have a linux box file server with lots of storage. I have it so that when service is created the user folders get added to a backup log and become part of a backup queue. If a game requires updates I use 1 server to update and queue a backup to the file server and the other machines just need a poke with a script and then are grabbing the update from the ftp server to a local repository. I keep local game files for speed of setup, but the file server updates the boxes, is better than dealing with multiple updates across a number of servers. For user files I keep 1 local of the user folders, I exclude the standard game engine files etc., and then using differential updates to the file server each night to keep bandwidth down and only update for changes to the user folder. You can get a cheap linux box for a file server and then just place it somewhere that is part way near to all other servers. Instead of leaving the game folder loose in a file server pack it into a zip for saving bandwidth and hard disk, TCAdmin will unpack the zip each time it installs a service.- 2 replies

I like this idea! -
Hi zantilles, The error is because your trying to run as the TCadmin user account. remove the "c: \ TCAFiles \ Users> runas / user: TCAGame Enter the password TCAGame:" TCAdmin has a user account on your machine, you are signed in on a different account, just take the command line and omit the running as TCAGame User. You only need the part that starts at the path to the executable and to the end of the command line.

set it to 2007 Compatibility, also make sure your run the game once so that the required drivers are installed.

Hello Zona, just set the .exe to windows 2007 compatibility and it will run. Server 2012 is not the best game server environment and some games require compatibility set to 2007.

PLEASE HELP arma3 en windows and Tcadmin
PCGamersportal replied to zona-gamer's topic in Game Config Files
Be sure to set the .exe to windows 2007 compatibility and it will work, it will not work without it set to compatibility for 2007. -
Hi Zantilles, I have the game running servers and TCadmin V2 works with the game ok.

You are very welcome Melanie, my pleasure.
