To be honest the billing APIs will most likely be very similar. You have 3 basic transactions that can be performed. 1. Create a user and game/voice server. 2. Autosuspend a game/voice server if the client does not pay. 3. Terminate (delete) a user and their services. While I am not sure exactly what GCP performs for billing functions, you can take a look at how our API works here: http://help.tcadmin.com/TCAdmin2_advanced_module_for_WHMCS I would suggest that you request a trial of both panel to see which one fits you best. Windows only puts out updates during the second week of each month, unless it is a critical patch. If you don't know how to use Linux, how are you going to support your customers when they have an issue?

Keep in mind that depending on what Minecraft versions you run they might require different Java versions. Example: A vanilla install might use any old java version, whereas FTB might want the latest, or even the 64 bit version to run. There are multiple versions of Java under both the 32 bit and 64 bit platforms that can be used. I ran into this issue myself when running FTB on a server. An update came out and it broke it. I had to use a specific 64bit version of Java for it to start :|

Might want to put in a ticket regarding the mod_id error. Should be an easy fix.

If I recall a recent ticket correctly, the issue is running the server as the TCAGame user. It requires you run it as the System user. I would put in a ticket to confirm with Luis.

Best bet would be to put in a support ticket and ask Luis for some help. Playing around with the aspx pages usually ends in an epic fail

That is something to think about. Just remember that the original design was done almost 3 years ago. HTML, CSS etc... have changed dramatically since then. I think Luis is focused more on features and fixes than the layout ATM. Hopefully in the future it will get a facelift

Just FYI. Allowing .jars to be uploaded is a HUGE security risk.

Just be aware of bandwidth usage. Voice servers use little system resources but can use quite a bit of BW. Keep that in mind if you have BW limits per server from your provider. Also, I find it better to keep them separate due to unforeseen issues such as HDD going bad or a server needing a reboot. If you have both games and voice servers on 1 server they all go down in either case mentioned above. And above all else... MAKE DAILY BACKUPS!!!! <----- Can't stress this enough. We have seen so many people lose their business due to failure to keep up to date backups. Just my $.02

Themes are CSS only. If you start hacking away at the web code you will break it. However with CSS and the ability to add your own custom icons I have seen many sites that look really nice. Also... remember that you can use and edit the old theme that was V1 that was added to V2 by Luis. Seems some people don't like the overall layout of V2.

You can either FTP them from your PC to the server, or I think you can download the files from STEAM if you buy the game via STEAM.

You guys should put your themes up for sale in our Advertising forums. I am sure there are a lot of people that are just starting out that would like to get a theme that would make them stand out a bit. Just a thought...

Remote servers do not require any SQL info. They should be installed as a remote server, NOT a Master server.
