  1. In the commandline for minecraft you can set the limit of RAM a server can use. TCadmin can use this flawlessly. Or do you perhaps mean WHMCS?
  2. I think I made a pretty good Chivalry config. Not sure if it is still up to date though. It's on the forums here. Try it out, if it's not good, I can always put up my current one.
  3. Ringo's post has all that you need, mate. Ringo, thanks for this beautiful piece of code.

    Error!?!

If you are still curious what the error is. Export the DODS XML, open it and check on line 9
  5. Idle doesn't matter for Java/Minecraft. Once it has the RAM, it always has the RAM, until a restart. I have no clue about linux though.
  6. That is quite normal, java has the habit of taking RAM but not giving back. + the minecraft world is loaded into the RAM
  7. Basically, the entire version of minecraft is in the minecraft.jar So just find an older minecraft.jar that corresponds with the version that you want. Overwrite the existing one you have, boom done.
  8. Are the entries still in your MySQL DB?
  9. I was a little stumped at first myself, so i figured i'd test that out. Glad it helped you out in the end!
  10. Checked out your config for you. Its the map decay that's broken. Your config is fine. Just remove that map.
  11. Depends on the game, some games have a log file instead of actual screen.
  12. You mean admins ingame? There is no query support for that. This also depends on the games. But I doubt games show specifically if there are admin players on.
  13. What if you try an account that owns the game?
  14. Oh, I never had v1. That does sound nice though.
  15. What exactly do you mean with, graph for admins? What do you want the graph to show you?
  16. What makes you think that Linux has DDoS protection? DDoS protection needs to be BEFORE your server, if the packages still reach your server, it will still overload.
  17. The subscription thing, make an actual steam account. Not all games work on anonymous.
  18. Well considering my TCAGame password consists of about 12 characters, with randomly put in letters and numbers, high and lowercase. I think it's safe to say that it's random. Sorry for the confusion.
  19. What do you mean? I said the passwords are RANDOMLY generated. My TCA doesn't have teh same login information as your TCA
  20. Passwords are randomly generated i think. You can see the passwords in the service settings, when you preview the commandline.
  21. Word has it that minecraft does run somewhat better on Linux than Windows. I don't think Source matters all that much.
  22. Not really, I mean, assuming you'll run gameservers on your master server too. It all just depends on the games. some games run better on linux, some run better on windows
  23. For me, I haven't noticed any overhead really.
  24. I run it on windows. You can have it run on the Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition. Which is considerably cheaper. Also in a datacenter, in holland atleast, you are kinda bound by SPLA. I pay about 10 bucks monthly for the license.
  25. I rather keep it all separated. Hard drive space costs next to nothing right now. And if one guy breaks his server, the other folk don't notice it. You could potentially create a single point of failure. Or if someone wants to customize his server, he can't because all the files are locked for security reasons.
