  1. I know it is not entirely my place to ask. But I am just curious, you can wave it away if you want. How will you provide support?
  2. Seems it's having trouble with Mono. You sure you have the correct version installed?
  3. Can't stress enough how important it is to find such basic things on your strength. It lays down a good fundamental basic that you will require in a lot of IT areas.
  4. Either that or as a secondary service, which will be a feature in a later release of V2
  5. Seeing as it's Arma 2 mod at this point, isn't it just the steam protocol that Arma 2/3 switched to recently?
  6. And yet, with all things java, I have always had those two values the same. But I see you've already tried that, so I said nothing.
  7. Commandline is wrong, second RAM value is 1024.
  8. Pretty sure there was one on the forums here. Have a search.
  9. so add the gamemodes folder, exclude .lua files, done!
  10. ..There's a GTA IV dedicated server?
  11. Free to play yes, some games don't have anonymous steamcmd support for some reason. It's very random.
  12. It is possible to just name the IPs. But I agree, numbers are harder to remember than names. Also you name your servers via numbers? I'd be dulled to bits!
  13. Help, I can't read the tiny.
  14. This is quite a vague error and I had it in an entirely different situation; Maybe the Monitor or Web or Servicemanager logs will give you a clearer error.
  15. Ok mate, this is the last time I will help you. I literally typed yum install lib32gcc1 in google. First result gave what you need. I am not going to give you the answer. If you're going to host, you need to learn to rely on your own skills. Google is truly one that you need. Time to walk on your legs mate, no more hand holding from me.
  16. It ain't Ubuntu, vuze my friend. But this might yum install lib32gcc1 TOGETHER WE CAN DO THIS.
  17. That seems more like a systemfiles/dependency error related to your Linux installation. Best be off to google, my friend.
  18. You might want to read this thread; http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=11585
  19. It is better practice. Same datacenter would probably give very nice results, still.
  20. You'd be surprised, it goes quite fast the more remote servers you have. Not long ago I suddenly had a max connections reached error. Had to raise the limit on the MySQL server, my fault for growing too fast, oops.
  21. I have the same, locally. I'd say it's worth a shot at the least and shouldn't be too hard to implement.
  22. I have a separate server for files in general. The backups of all user files go to it; Gameserver install files are on there as well. As are the FastDL files. One server with a shitton of storage, running an unmetered connection.
  23. Run the game manually first, see what error pops up.
  24. There was a way but it wasn't quite GSP friendly. You had to use a patcher that'd patch the .exe to use a different port.
