  1. Jar isn't exactly an executable is it? At least not in the way I have minecraft and such set up. Check the file permissions, maybe the extension is blocked by tcadmin for the game.
  2. There's a few threads in the Game Config File section. Combined with downloadable rust configs.
  3. You're using steamcmd with anonymous login for 'em?
  4. I will forgive you misspelling my name this one time, Steve. Only because it's you. Made a thread so people don't have to dig in whatever topic I made a reply about the installer; http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?p=71403
  5. More and more server software requires at least one version of Visual C++ Runtime to run. I found a package online that installs every single one of them for you. Figured I'd put this in a separate thread in the tips & tricks section. Will be easier for people to spot. http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/VC-Redist-Installer.shtml
  6. Don't forget people; LIF:YO does require a MariaDB server, 5.5 at that(although 10 works too). Each server it's own database.
  7. There already is a thread about this, 2-3 threads down.
  8. Hey Wol, You might want to take this up with Luis directly via support ticket. He responds fast and this does seem more like an issue that's potentially in their direction.
  9. "Yes, but its done based on server, not by game, servers should be assigned to games, not games assigned to servers" Tomato, tomatoe. Either way has same effect. "You can have something set as installed by default, but not something that is installed afterwards by default, the files must already be there" I keep all my mod install files on a single web server, taking away the need to transfer files to each gameserver. So yes, it works that way for me. "winpcap isn't, unless its changed recently" I have installed 3-4 remotes recently and never did winpcap by hand on them, bandwidth stats works; I also recall seeing it being installed during installation.
  10. 18) Installed by default/install after install Already possible per mod 26) Assign servers to games rather than games to servers ALso already possible, just select which game is allowed to install on a server. 19) Compiled installer winpcap already included, .net has to be done via server manager. Although that might be possible via commandline as well.(Pretty sure it is) So the intaller could execute the command. 8) Import/partial import Also already possible, just check the correct boxes.
  11. You still haven't posted your console log of the master server and remote server. The overkill version of what Luis said, is a full reboot. Do that first, then give us the console logs.
  12. Hey mooseyman, You do know they're using Steam's query now? In TCAdmin, that'll be halflife 2 new
  13. Am on vacation so I can't quite do a test right now. But anything that can be done in batch file can also be done via commandline. Have you tried running it via server directly? Try it outside of TCAdmin first. Hell, create a server, go to Service Settings, head to the commandline and click preview. That shows the commands that TCAdmin runs to start the server. Try those commands manually. You just might catch something.
  14. Your story is a hell of a mess. What did you update, show us the logs. I've never seen you on the forums before with your problems. You have three posts. Sometimes Luis can't be an Oracle, you have a bunch of guys on the forums who can help you pretty well too. Seems like you're running Linux though, it has been said that it does favour Windows, although Linux is very very compatible as well.
  15. Pretty sure I posted mine here for Windows, it's definitely in one of the threads here.
  16. I'll take a look at your configs when I can. But I think they use Unity but have query support for Source?
  17. Seems it's a case of Wine.
  18. a tweet from the lad: https://twitter.com/garrynewman/status/506083511502385152
  19. You don't need to add the -beta part anymore. It's all public now.
  20. Be sure to use the Legacy branch, not the release branch yet.
  21. Start the server up manually, see what is up. If they run something like custom addons, disable them to see if one of them is causing issues. Possibly might be Sourcemod as well.
  22. Do you possible have "Bind to all IP addresses" that set in the server config?
