  1. Had a bunch of kids asking me for this today, so I downloaded this horrible mod and put together the configs and files If you need the gamefiles in the correct dir structure just let me know I'll get them to you. The config is here. Keep in mind this mod doesn't yet support multi threading, or multi core machines. This mod is incredibly full of memory leaks, and won't be anywhere near nice for a bit of time... Nonethe less, here it is.. Kid tested, mother approved. Adam Half Life 2 MP EMPIRES.txt
  2. haha guess you gotta make the config then bro and let us bug you hehe
  3. They can add 100 games if they want, but if there plagued with players not being able to play the games, because gsp's and the likes can't adequately manage and run the servers...I assume changes would be made..no? Although as far back as I can remember, epic's always been a pain in the ass...Even since Epic megagames pinball shipping the game with 1 map and making you pay for the rest..Haha!
  4. a pita....youve been watching to many of those cell phone commercials haha just playing!
  5. We have 2 32 man servers that have been full nonstop since I made them, not crashing at all. Both servers are static maps, maybe its a specific map that might be crashing your server? or the map rotation in general? dewt
  6. I'm assuming its accepting %privatepassword% as a like a null character, adding set g_password "" ..Which you might have to compeltely remove that line from the config, and possibly add it to the commandline or elsewhere to rectify? Hmm.. I'm testing atm.
  7. Can you export your tca game config and post it for download here?
  8. Ours has been running fine...It crashed because steam updated, but has been fine since going on 5.5 hours now. Whereas 24 is fine, 32 is fine for some maps aswell...Not all, but some :} Game is great though!
  9. The -dir . makes it go into your 'current active directory' or the directory your in at the time you ran the command, anything else will point to whatever you put. Haha ECF hit enter a c-hair before me!
  10. Redownload the game. HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game tf -dir . It may crash, run it again from within the same dir immediately, and it will attempt again and finish the files.
  11. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6755034#post6755034 This thread explains how to attain 32 player servers and higher. Kid Tested, and mother approved....This does infact work! unf
  12. I noticed that a lot of GSP's were doing that. I initially didn't set a slot release for that purpose. I remembered way back when We still did well with it yesterday never-the-less! Thanks for sharing the config stud!
  13. Theres another thread that was started with the ET QW config that I had updated from ECF's original. It has the working config for the 'demo' server as opposed to the openbeta2 server... http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=2795 Cheers
  14. Yep ECF And no problemo fellas, thats why were all here!
  15. I have made a change from ECF's original configuration, this works with the 'demo' server now as opposed to the older 'beta2' server settings. ET_Quake_Wars.txt
  16. What your talking about are SourceTV Relays and or SourceTV Proxy servers. If you were to place a 200 Slot SourceTV on the gameserver machine, um yeah you'd probobally hear some complaints quickly down the road..The reasons are fairly right in your face apparent why. Using the proxy servers allows you to place a 1 man SourceTV On the gameserver, and use proxy servers to connect to and relay from that 1 man across an ever lasting number of proxy servers, essentially allowing you to spread your bandwidth across your network. http://www.valve-erc.com/srcsdk/general/source_tv.html This article from Valve, demonstrates how to correctly configure the relays, its fairly simple to do.
