Call of Duty 4 Game Servers

Yeah, we personally have experienced a high flow of steady and constant Call of Duty 4 orders. I think once they fix some of the bugs, and this goes into an active CEVO/CAL season we should all see a great number of sales from competitive gamers. Right now, I personally feel this is mostly from communities, and gaming organizations ordering at the moment. With the occasional pubbers ;)

Can't wait!

Brian I don't think have http://cod4servers.com is hurting ya :)

We've seen a steady amount of sales, no real surge, but definitely no decline, in the COD4 market. Just wish they didn't take up so much gosh darn drive space ;)

Nope, actually our supported communities cod4forums.com, and cod4boards.com help is a great deal in Call of Duty 4 sales as well. Not only does COD4 take up a lot of HD space but it eats ram like crazy.. Which isn't to bad of a resource; easy upgrade.

Ah nice rich, great minds think alike ;)

We bought cod4servers.com a few days after the game was announced.. but we didn't buy callofduty4servers.com for some reason...

We've managed to snag some other good domains though... unrealtournamentservers.com, unrealtournament3servers.com, cs-servers.net, ventrilo-servers.net, cspromodservers.com.

Does the multiple domain names really work? The main thing that is going to pull people into your website are word of mouth and a search engine. If your domain name is nothing more than a redirect with no content, search engines are going to place you on the bottom. Then you are just hoping people type in a random URL to purchase a game server.

Hypedgaming's CoD4 site seemed like a good idea because they have text on the page and should place higher in search engines.

Agreed, The plan was to build content something like HG has done but at the end of the day there's always something more important that needs attention so the redirect stays for now until they can invent a 28 hour day ;)

There's something that SEO gurus refer to as an all-in-domain bonus. If you have the .com of something with the exact term someone is searching for, and nothing else, the odds are massively stacked in your favor of ranking. It won't do everything for you, but it's one of the most significant things you could do to help seal a few terms. Hyped surely knows this. :)

But yes the best form of advertising is always word of mouth, this sort of thing is just a jump-start for it.

The fact that they have text for that site is what places them high, in addition to having the exact URL. If you search Defcon's "unreal 3 servers", they are no where to be seen. You have to have text on the site to have decent placement in a search engine.
