AA3 and TS3 config

i know the release date on AA3 is the 17

We are on the server beta as well as other TCA users and yes it has TS3. You can get on the client beta through Fileplanet and see what the game is like.

AA3 dedicated server is on steam now, although im unsure what the steam name is for direct download.

Steam is for the client Beta Testers. All client downloads have to go through the Deploy Client.

 

I know 1 person that downloaded the steam version and had his AA3 account banned!

They also redesigned the new deploy client so your downloads are up to par, I was pulling over 700kbs on a 10mbit connection so no more 40kb download speeds. They are suppose to release more beta keys for downloads so like Motormouth said go to fileplanet and get the files. Keep in mind you can't share it with your friends/anybody or your account will get banned.

i found aa3 dedicated server and this defaultgame.ini looks like the old aa2.x.x server.ini

Not sure where your getting your files from but right now all of AA3 server/client files are for beta only and we as honor providers have been warned a few times and agreed not to discuss or share any info/files etc related to the AA3 game. Running illegal instances of the game could get you in trouble with the US Army.

Whats the filename in the hldsupdater as I cant get it to pull anything from steam, as a matter of fact its not even listed.

 

I doubt the DL you are speaking of is Valid or legal.

It is available from the Tools tab in Steam, same place the other dedicated servers and SDK tools are.

 

I haven't tested in a dedicated environment without Steam yet though.

From what I can gather, if the server is not authorized, it goes in to LAN mode.

it does work without steam, i dont have an account setup yet so it does go to lan, there is a config file where you can put account details in though..

Note: Have a look into the Install/Uninstall Scripts they can make problems witch ur installation, because of the automated Webserver creation script!
