Wulffe
Gonna try it. Thanks
Wulffe
Works fine, but something must be wrong. A single Rust server just clocked the CPU, and made the main server restart due to high CPU usage :/
csellebrecht
that has been an issue with the new update. That same config works on one of my servers but not the other.
Skurnicki
Do we need to change anything or is facepunch looking in to it?
Dennis
What should Facepunch be looking in to? The only problem is that your configs are most likely outdated.
Skurnicki
My rust files and servers work just fine Dennis, I just strange that one of his servers is working and the other isnt. Lemon
There is a Rcon issue with that config, you want to change it to +2 from the game port and not +1 like it is.
Dennis
The rcon port can be anything.
Lemon
The rcon port can be anything. Yes you are right Dennis but what you are missing is the fact that it can't be the same as the Query port...
Dennis
Ahh, my bad. No, only the game port can be the same as the query port

Lemon
I have started again with the Rust config because that one was a bit far gone, I have just done a standard fully working Rust config with the new Query (took me ages to get the Query working with the new ports ); Game Port: 28015 Query Port: 28015 Rcon Port: 28017 +2 There is no messing around just import the config download the game files (game not needed) and deploy your rust server I am adding Oxide to get the latest files everytime and some other stuff to my config so if you want that one then let me know and I will post it up.rust - Windows.xml

Dennis
Sometimes I'd really wish that people at least tried searching the forums or Google... Rust doesn't have Linux binaries.
