Hi,

 

Does anyone have a config for Battalion 1994 or someone who can help?

I have a config that works, but the query doesnt work, i can see it in hlsw sort of under the HL query protocal, but doesnt show players or the server name correctly.

I am curious to see how you dealt with the "MaxPlayersPerTeam" as it relates to "$Service.slots"

Try the attached config. It queries correctly. I don't know how to change the slots. It defaults to 100. Also my config downloads the game server files automatically.

I have tried this, thank you - i can see my server in the list. However everytime i try and connect it throws me back to the menu without error. Exit button then does not work.

 

If i run a server using the .bat file provided by Battalion it runs fine and i can connect to it, i have tied to use there config and run the command from the .bat within tcadmin but its just not responding to it or working?

 

Please help - seems hundreds are facing this issue with there servers.

Try configuring the game with run as = local system and create a new game server.

Are you referring to the command line.

 

Sorry for questions, just tried every combination in command lines and configs possible for 5 hours last night. For life of me i cant figure it out.

@chrisbrydges The Url loads for me...

 

Go to system/ setting/ Battalion/ on the topnav bar look for run as then change run as from tcagame to local system

Not having much luck, anyway i can make the service show me the console on desktop?

 

I would like to see the start command and compare it to the working server running on my pc.

 

I have enabled ( Enable interact with desktop ) but its still running as a background service.

Try running it manually to see what it is using. That will show the console on the desktop since it won't be running under TCAdmin.

config works for me I tried connecting via clicking on the server ion the list when I eventually found it. but it reverted to the main menu. so I tried the direct connect method from here https://survivalservers.com/wiki/index.php?title=How_to_Direct_Connect_Join_a_Battalion_1944_Server and it worked perfectly thanks for the config
