Also struggling here to find some more information on Map Slot Counts.

I understand that "Server Hijacking" will automatically change your server size dependent on demand. What I cant get information on whether the Map Sizes are changed by the different Game Modes objective, campaign etc. We are currently running two Demo Servers 1 x 8 Slot, 1 x 16 Slot but we have noticed that even with hijacking turned off the 16 slot the servers will default to 8 slots (occasionally 12 Slots).

Also still struggling with the server usage on this game.

the CPU usage in an idle server sits at 1.7, as soon as 1 player joins this jumps to 16.00 (average) and then no change until the server becomes idle again (i presume when server is showing "down" that is like a standby mode). It makes no difference whether Hijacking is ON or OFF.

The Fusion Team sat down last night to look at some figures for BRINK, with 16 active players on our two Demo Servers we had a reported 289 independent connections ( all separate IP addresses) using the BRINK instance. We do not know what this means we assume that it is something to do with the Matchmaking Service and will monitor it whilst we have Hijacking off.

We have also made another discovery....

Although whilst setting the ip and ports on the box's default ip (Not our usual method), we have been experiencing issues with Other HL based servers.

We run a portscan on the server and fouind that when running Brink instances, as well as running the ports set in the config, it also creates and opens a number of other ports which are not bound to an ip.

This is preventing other servers from being started.

We have been banging our heads against a wall with this one. There quite a few, the best way to see which is to run a port scan on the boxes you have brink on, try Currports (Brilliant little tool) - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/cports.html

Basically until the ip/port binding is sorted out, Brink will cause some serious issues for us :(
