Nothing has been released yet. but from what we can tell, it is based on the Doom 3 engine, but has been optimized for netplay. Also don't forget to keep an eye out for Call of Duty 2

Any file you want filled by TCAdmin at the time of game creation should be within the install files, but should be blank. TCAdmin fills the file in when you use the automation process if you have entered contents into the template file in the panel.

Ahhhhh, I will check and see if HLTV commands are consistent with HL's. If they are it's just a matter of removing the AMX link.

It will be in the next version. I honestly have setup HLTV and it works fine for me. You simply create a gametype called HLTV or download the config here. And create a manual service and point it to the HLTV.exe file within the clients game server folder. Edit the hltv.cfg file and put a line that says: connect xx.xx.xx.xx:ppppp Where x=ip and p=port Then the client can change what ever they like, such as game name etc in the cfg file. Are you guys remembering to edit the hltv.cfg file?

The above config does contain the contents of the server.cfg file. Did you remember to put a blank server.cfg file in the install files?

I know it runs as a service unless ther is something weird with your server (which I doubt). Best way to check it is to set the service to interact with the desktop in the service settings for that HLTV server. Start it and log in with VNC and check the console for the error.

No command line. Simply call the hltv.exe file and make sure the hltv.cfg has the proper config info in it.

OK here is one that has been tested. Generic config file and a couple command line variables. Make sure you edit the games folder name to match DodSource or change the name in the config. Set game compatibility to Counter Strike Source for the status to work correctly. We will add DOD Source to the compatibility list soon. DoD_S.txt

Instead of +ip in the command line try -ip. We were testing a Dystopia mod for CS Spurce the other day and found that if we used +ip it would ignore the ip we specified and would bind to the forst availible one it could find.

Try setting the Game compatibility to HL2 or Counterstrike Source in System Settings>Plugins>Game Compatibility.

I would imagine it will be pretty close to CS:Source config. It is looking pretty belak though. Only a couple hours or so before the scheduled unlock time, and no server files yet. I did notice that they just pushes out a client update a few minutes ago

I made a few slight changes to the above config. The command line actually uses -ip and not +ip like other HL games. Very odd, but we ran across this problem the other day. If you use +ip, the game ignores the command and binds itself to the first IP it can find. Also here is the downloadable txt format as well. Thank you to the poster for sharing. dystopiamod.txt

It's allready in there Andy. Create it as a new game and just tag it as a voice server instead of a game server. You can use the config file editor etc.. if you need to as well.

Steve, double check the seta hostname line in the config file. It had a small error in it. I just fixed it in both the code and download files.

I have noticed that using this config I cannot get the game to actual start hosting a race. The GUI loads and it logs into sierra, but after that I must manual click the host or start button (whichever it is) to start the server. Any ideas?
