  1. I know a client big into the JO scene. I'll send him an email and see what he has for configs.
  2. If it is UT based, I would look for core.ini and/or player.ini maybe?
  3. Never even heard of it... Is it new?
  4. Just use the tv_maxclients command Here is a link to Valve's WIKI on STV: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Source_TV
  5. Generic Config with: serversettings.com reservedplayers.con default.cfg (for rcon) Please note I have been testing some rcon methods over different ports. This config is set to port 16567 for rcon. Please make sure you edit that to whatever port you are using. BF2SF.txt
  6. I ran into the same error when I tried editing the config here to work with it
  7. I have a generic SF config. But there appears to be a bug in the new BF2CC program. Last I heard they were working on a fix for it. If you want the generic one I have, I can post it.
  8. People do it both ways. For some it is esier to config a default game install, and then add the mod. For others it's easier to put the mod right in the config and install. A good example of this would be for Counterstrike. Many game clients want some form of server control such as AMX or AMXX. So our clients actually create 2-3 different installs and configs. One for each. that way when a client orders a CS server with AMX, they can simply fire that install, instead of having the client do it afterwards. Or of course you can create the mod and simply click the install button after the initial server is setup.

    COD2

Login to Remote Desktop in console mode. Edit your remote desktop shorcut and add this on the end: /console Put a space in between the end of the line and that command. Also make sure you have "interact with desktop" checked for that game service, in the service settings.

    COD2

Login as console and check for any messages. Most likely the lame pop-up messages that COD2 produces when configs change.
  11. That's not on the list of supported games. Can you point out where you saw it? Current list of supported games can be found at the bottom of this page. http://www.tcadmin.com/demo.html
  12. Also, please remember to adjust your windows multimedia timer on your servers. To do this you can simply login to your server and run windows media player. You can leave it minimized, but make sure it is running at all times so the windows mm timing get's changed. Otherwise the tickrate in the command line will not work properly and will simply eat extra ram.
  13. Im think that if we create file links to both serversettings.con and the servermanager.cfg file and include the same template file, this may work. However, getting the users into the manager users file will be tricky, since they are encoded So I guess for now we will need to run the servermanager at least once on the server so we can add an admin user to the manager. Maybe you can ask kevlar if there is a way to enter admin users as plain text, so we can include a default admin user in the manager via the automation process.
  14. I guess I take that back. I see where is does not take the serversettings.con file and transfer it to the servermanager.con file like the BF series. I wonder if I enter a server seetings.con file instead????
  15. I saw the Server Manager, but didn't even take a look for the Remote it was late like 3am, so I must have missed it. Thank you for the info on the query port though. Ill have Luis add it to the list as Battlefront 2 in the next update.
  16. Well I was able to get it to work correctly with the autoinstall in the serversettings.con file by actually starting the manager on the server with the default install files I am using. It will create the settings files etc... Then simply edit and use that for your default install, creating a link and template file for serversettings.con of course. I don't have the manager yet, so I could not test it as far as connecting remotely. Also need to figure out what game protocol and port it uses for the query.
  17. Email me and Ill hook you up. The least I can do for your help in the past.
  18. I understand. If you want I will have a config file for it tomorrow. I want to do the config editor for it. And I can send you the zip package with the files if you like. Then simply add it to your billing, and you are good to go
  19. I would suggest you rethink hosting it hogie. I am pawing throught the config right now. Very simple to run with the BF manager. Just my $.02 to you
  20. You can allways download the server files from the above link and create one as well
  21. Well I hit blackbagops for the manager, but they do not have download links yet. So I guess we wait?
  22. Cool. Thanks for the info Zero. I think most clients simply start the manager without any variables and then start the actual server through that. Then if the manager fooks up for whatever reason, they can restart it in TCAdmin without effecting the game server itself.
  23. Not out yet as far as I know.
  24. We use this on our test server to run the actual Master TS server as a service. It won't install it, but it has the correct ports etc.. for when you create it as a manual service. TS.txt
