Advanced configs, if you are running a business with tcadmin, you should know how to make basic configurations already. Advanced configurations allows for "pushing" the bar further as to the capabilities of what you can accomplish with the software.

Discord is a community/forum killer. If one gets setup then the forums will be pushed aside. Discord also requires heavy moderation. I don't imagine it would be used effectively.

Tcadmin is outdated and lacks many of the modern updates, the API has limited functionality. You can still run mysql queries to manipulate the database however.

Yes, that's most likely true, just means having MariaDB run alongside mysql.
