[Help] Playert Count and Automatic Port - Barotrauma Config
Raizio replied to Carlos Dorelli's topic in Game Config Files
You can basically put variables in it, like the player slots one and the gameport one. In most games the commandline takes precedence over the config, so it should stick. -
[Help] Playert Count and Automatic Port - Barotrauma Config
Raizio replied to Carlos Dorelli's topic in Game Config Files
Hey man, For the second and third thing, can't they be set in the commandline? This would solve the issue, as they can't change those. -
What was the issue then? And the solution?

Don't forget it could also be the username itself that has characters or symbols in it. I've had a few clients like that.

Either that or set it to use explicit ftp in the site manager of Filezilla. But yeah this became the default thing in Filezilla.

Not a claim yet no? They asked them without any legal document or C&D or DMCA to stop work while they invited them in for talks

I don't think that's gonna happen. I mean I suppose you could. You'd have to disable the internal ftp. Setup pureftp on every server and make sure every user can use their tcadmin account and only be able to reach their own folder/server. Not to forget sub users too. You can try automating that at every user/service creation. I think you will run into many hurdles on the way and it might not even be possible in a decent way.

Do you mean for clients or yourself?

CPU, RAM, network usage... what about disk?
Raizio replied to revhosting's topic in Feature and Module Ideas
Probably do, just not high on the list. There's also a fair amount of monitoring software out for this in the meantime. -
Some or all identity references could not be translated

That sounds like some credentials got broken. Not to mention a killer move to do if you have many services. -
No such thing in the API I am afraid. Only way I see how that could happen if you use a before or after event to trigger the script. On a restart or a suspend, etc.

That entire sentence confuses me

Percentage on your control panel or on the physical boxes that host the gameservers?

Best I can think it is if you use the bot to send commands to the billing api url. Here are some examples: http://help.tcadmin.com/Billing_API_Examples I know you mean not billing, but in this case they are one and the same. You can use the same API for the start/stop things. It doesn't require a billing to work.

Best to create a ticket with TCAdmin, if this is even supported. Still wondering why would you want TCAdmin and a domain controller on the same machine? Literally just for testing? -

Why would you even want TCAdmin to run on a server that is a domain controller? That's asking for silly problems. EDIT: After having this in my mind for an hour something came to mind. TCAdmin makes local users, but there are no local users on a domain controller, they all become domain users. So you might have a bit of a mismatch on users right now. Tried a fresh reinstall of tcadmin on the domain controller? I still advise not to mix these two up on the same machine though.. -
Try restarting the monitor service and see if that helps. You're positive there's a ts3 main server running that it can contact too?

if I recall this part was known. When Rust starts up it maxxes out the entire server. After that it calms down.

If it's behind a router, set the primary IP as the LAN ip. Set the external IP as the Firewall IP. Then at the Server IPs, make sure only the LAN IP is there. You can set the hostname on the LAN IP there as the external IP so clients would see the external IP Set the port forward on the router and you should be good to go.

There are Linux server files, so you can try it.

Nice! You moved to the next step, well done. Alright, now you have to make sure the ports are opened. Also check the server log to see if it is throwing errors.
-
Are you sure that file is in your game files?
-
You will need to make sure the install files exist in tcadmin\games
