  1. I'm referring to starting the server using the stuff you see under 'Service Settings', like when you're troubleshooting. Take a look at this: http://help.tcadmin.com/Troubleshooting_Game_%26_Voice_Services
  2. How does your ConfigUtility look? Delete any sensitive information before attaching it.
  3. Hi, It seems that the Fast Download tool is not working with Ubuntu 16.10. I've tested with two machines running Ubuntu 16.10, and 2 running Debian 8 - both Ubuntu servers fails to upload/compress, and both Debians have no issues. We noticed this when clients reported the 'missing map' error, even though files where placed on the Fast Download server. Moving the server and redoing Fast Download fixed the issue. I tried using Fast Download without compressing the files, and I noticed that the file size differed from the files on the game server. This is the file size on the game server: root@ARK1:/home/tcagame_svc1884/Dennis/1884/csgo/maps# du -s surf_radiation_hazard.bsp 41160 surf_radiation_hazard.bsp root@Server3:/home/tcagame_svc1889/Dennis/1889/csgo/maps# du -s surf_radiation_hazard.bsp 41160 surf_radiation_hazard.bsp On the fast download server: root@ns398542:/home/primaservers/domains/fastdl.primaservers.com/public_html/Dennis/1884/csgo/maps# du -s surf_radiation_hazard.bsp 43440 surf_radiation_hazard.bsp root@ns398542:/home/primaservers/domains/fastdl.primaservers.com/public_html/Dennis/1889/csgo/maps# ls -s surf_radiation_hazard.bsp 43764 surf_radiation_hazard.bsp Both these are from Ubuntu 16.10 servers. When moved to a Debian server, all works fine: root@ns398542:/home/primaservers/domains/fastdl.primaservers.com/public_html/Dennis/1884/csgo/maps# du -s surf_radiation_hazard.bsp 41160 surf_radiation_hazard.bsp Have anyone noticed this as well?
  4. Could you try posting the additional parameters?
  5. Well, you need to specify a map name. That would probably solve everything.
  6. Note that the rconweb protocol isn't working properly for Rust: https://github.com/Facepunch/webrcon/issues/12
  7. Have you tried running it using the information you see under 'Service Settings'?
  8. Create another config (a duplicate of serverconfig.xml). Start the server with -configfile=myserverconfig.xml
  9. It's hard getting in touch with them. Basically goes for any game developer. I've tried since launch date, but everyone ignore my messages - even the community manager
  10. Dupe: http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=12459
  11. Well, if he set the rcon port to be 2462, he shouldn't connect on 2306, should he?
  12. I think you might be correct on this one ;-)
  13. That's actually a good question. A couple of game servers are terminated instead of shut down.
  14. Included in ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\ServerSettings.ini by default: RegionAllowAfrica=True RegionAllowAsia=True RegionAllowCentralEurope=True RegionAllowEasternEurope=True RegionAllowWesternEurope=True RegionAllowNorthAmerica=True RegionAllowOceania=True RegionAllowSouthAmerica=True RegionBlockList=
  15. Also, just because we know what that the query port is the port that Steam needs to communicate with the server doesn't mean that the client knows it. Think a few years back, before you started messing with game servers... You didn't know what a query port was, right? I didn't, not until I had to know what it was used for. For us it's just common knowledge, but sometimes it's a mess trying to explain to the customer why he can't use the 'real' IP in TCAdmin. You're not even able to join with the game port, nor search for the game, so it's just pointless that you can't set the game port equal to the query port.
  16. Not anymore. Seems like they 'patched' something so the client just hangs with a black screen when joining servers where both query port and game port are the same. Really fucking stupid since our config was made with same ports, and now we had to edit the ports for all existing customers...
  17. Use Port and QueryPort instead of GameServerPort and GameServerQueryPort if you're having issues. I mentioned this earlier in the thread.
  18. I gotta know something. We haven't been able to run multiple servers when using GameServerPort and GameServerQueryPort in the command line. It simply doesn't bind the ports. Using Port and QueryPort works fine. It's the same with ARK. Anyone else experiencing this?
  19. Dang, I'd looked forward to seeing resources from Spigot ;-) Well, nice to see that it's at least working. <3
  20. BukGet or SpiGet? It looks a lot like BukGet (seems like it's pulling from Bukkit), but since BukGet is shut down, it can't be that.
  21. Oh, please let it be another one like ARK! Not in the way gameplay is, nor graphics, but in the way people go all banana-shit-crazy and spend a lot of money. I'm not kidding you - within the last 1 and a half year, hosting ARK servers is about 50% of our income. Before, we had almost only Minecraft services running, but after ARK... Holy f, that shit is a goldmine!
  22. But don't let my experience stop you from trying! Could be that I did something wrong (which isn't unlikely), or that there's some conflicts regarding the OS we ran. Give it a try and see if it works
  23. Alright - I can just say that it ain't working on Linux. It's been tested dozens of times by me. It doesn't download the files, at least
