  1. Backing up to remote servers, and I haven't had any luck creating symlinks across two servers... yet
  2. Alrighty. We're on Linux, so that's a whole other discussion, but we've been trying to create an easy way for clients to restore backups from specific dates - but that's not really that simple to implement in TCAdmin and Borg Backup
  3. I'm kinda curious. Do you allow users to restore backups through TCAdmin?
  4. No SpiGet? Otherwise, update looks fantastic!
  5. ^That happened to us as well. At the same time, 7 Days to Die servers also stopped working. We were running Debian 8. It seems as if Raknet (the network protocol that Rust and 7 Days uses) just stopped working out of the blue. No matter what we did (reinstalling the entire machine, trying tons of workarounds), nothing would fix it. We were able to run the servers from CentOS and Ubuntu without issues.

    Help

I'd advise you put in a ticket with the support team and don't take advise from anyone on the forums (unless they're telling you to open a ticket ) - you might go and break your installation of TCAdmin. Always update the monitor through the control panel.
  7. Alright, so to anyone interested: Later this month, an update will be released, replacing BukGet with the SpiGet API.
  8. Hi, I don't know if any of you have realised, but BukGet, which is the API that TCAdmin uses to download plugins from Bukkit's website, has been shut down for good. My question is: Is SpiGet going to be replacing BukGet for TCAdmin? If that's the case, then I have a request: Since the API allows the option to download a specific version of a plugin, please add this as a feature.
  9. No. The server just doesn't work properly (could've crashed or gone into a boot-loop), or you've set the query protocol incorrectly.
  10. Not everything is on the wiki
  11. No questions are stupid. There's a lot of info regarding TCAdmin that's nowhere to be found (which you have to find out yourself).
  12. I'd advise that anyone having this issue would open a ticket with support.
  13. Yes. I'd advise that people facing a similar issue as OP open a ticket and don't just execute the query - that exact query is only for this specific version of TCAdmin.
  14. If you're having issues with TCAdmin not opening ports for the executable file in Windows Firewall, simply just create a script that does this.
  15. Any reason as to why mono-basic can't be installed on Debian Wheezy? Edit: Trick was to install mono-vbnc, I guess What are the advantages of using mono v4 in production right now?
  16. The server list in ARK can only show a fixed amount of servers. A lot (and by that I mean most) of the servers won't show up in that list. To make it easier for clients to find their services. We orginally used QueryPort=$[service.QueryPort], but clients didn't know that they needed to add the query port and not the game port to the server list. This caused a huge amount of tickets, which is why we changed it to match the game port.
  17. Add it as a editable file in the File manager settings for the game.
  18. It would? Huh, I didn't even know that. I know you mentioned that you wouldn't get into the issue, but can you give just a tiny hint? I'm not saying that users should be able to change the name of the executable file
  19. HOW? All our Linux servers stopped workking after A15. What distro?
  20. Could also be fixed pretty quickly by allowing the use of variables in the executable name (if it's not already allowed). Then the config could have a script that would execute after setting up the server, which changed the name of the executable from 7DaysToDieServer.exe to 7DaysToDieServer%ThisService_ServiceId%. All you had to do afterwards is setting the executable to 7DaysToDieServer%ThisService_ServiceId%. This would just create a problem with the way TCAdmin functions, as TCAdmin is checking for the executable file before the service is completely setup, and since we can't create a script that would change the name during the setup, the setup task won't be able to find the executable file.
  21. 587 is a pretty default port for SMTP.
  22. Maybe the machine is set to get files locally, and you haven't added the mod files to the machine yet? The easiest solution is to configure the server to get all files from the master, and then upload the mods to /home/tcadmin/tcafiles/games/<game>/TCA.Mods/
